My bible lays by my bedside, I try to read in it every night before I turn out the light although I have to admit that I have slacked off on it here lately. Was reading a good mystery and just didn't bother with it, but it is what keeps me going knowing that god is there when ever I NEED HIM, I totally believe in god and don't consider it a piece of fiction.

Thank You I may not be the best Christian in the world, but I know that God is there. I pick a book out of the bible and read it a bit every night till I finish it. My suggestion to you is start with Proverbs and go from there. You will find some very interesting things that will really make you stop and think. Good luck in your reading and let me know how you are coming along with it.

I read the holy book every morning. It is the source of my strength and guidance from the Lord for my days activities. The scriptures are really inspiring and can be use for every day life.

I have never, and probably will never read any holy book unless it is for a class. I just see no point to reading any of it. The bible held so high by many is just a giant work of fiction that holds no meaning really. And personally, the bible is not my sort of fiction.

I have never ever read the bible all the way through but i have read some it some of the stories, yet i know about the nature of God from a Christian point of view, Eg that he is all powerful, all knowning, the creator, he is everywhere, judge, loving ETC. Though i am in no way religious.

you are true about your view and that is good.but the best way to learn how to live is to read holy books and implement in your daily life.
