Hello All,
I just wonder if you ever respond to a similar discussion which you just responded earlier. Sometimes, I came across a similar discussion started by a few friends on my list. I feel a bit bored to say the same things over and over again (in not even a day maybe...) but I feel oblige to respond to all my friends' discussions, as long as I have something to say. Of course it is sometimes hard to find a topic of discussion which yet to be started as a discussion here. But a similar discussion in a day....do you or don't you respond to the similar discussion over and over again?

Hello bunnybon7,
I try my best to be fair to all my friends. So when I responded to A, I feel oblige to respond to B's discussion about the same topic. At times, I will just re-phrase everything but like you said earlier in your comment, if it is about color that you like or laptop or desktop or million others small matter that hardly for me to give a different response, I just surrender sometimes...

Hello bunnybon7,
It seems that you already responded to me before! It is alright....I am glad to comment again and again...this is a different case and it won't get me sick unless yes, I need to respond to many different friends for the same topic in less than a day! Have a great day!

Hi gr8life, I have come across such situation always. I have responded to the similar discussions at the same time but with different views. I just wonder whether mylot still pay me if I answer two or more similar discussions the same day At the moment I try not to respond to discussions with similar contents anymore. It’s not worthy in case my time and effort putting in is worth nothing.
I totally agree that sometimes it’s really difficult to find suitable and interesting to share with the creators. Yeah, I will feel bored and tired as well if keep on responding to similar discussions over and over again!
Happy posting

Hello lkbooi,
I think there are many more similar discussions like mine and thanks for your response. It is true that when you keep responding to the similar discussions, you will get bored and tired easily. When that happens, I will lose time and money So, need to be quite choosy next time!

If a certain discussions seems too familiar, I browse through the existing responses and try to see if I'm actually listed in that discussion. If I was then I can simply comment in my own response for additional information that I want to share, if I wasn't then I would know that I wouldn't be repeating any response I already made.
Thanks for the response on my discussion :)

Hello oyenkai,
Sorry for my late reply. Thanks anyway for digging my old discussion. I just feel like I need to be fair (though I am not asked for it) to all my friends here. When they started discussions, I try my best to respond whenever I have something to say. But sometimes, the topic is just to light to discuss over and over again like which do you prefer, what drink do you like and etc. I feel bored when I see this kind of discussions being repeated over and over again. I just want to be fair and so, I feel oblige to respond to all the posters who are on my list and then, I get myLot burnout because of this!

Yes, there are same discussions that I often responded, but I don't have to repeat my same answers because it is prohibited here. I just rephrase my thoughts and add more views and opinions. If I like the topic then I would answer even if it is the same discussion, but if I don't like it, then one is enough.lol!

I think you will agree with me mylot being such a huge site will bring in similar discussions because here the member are at different levels and this becomes a problem for old members who are already here for so many years.so what you say after being here for a year or two one has nothing to do .No i think there are other things which can engage you simply you can answer to querries regarding this site so though you will be limited to posting answers you will be doing and you can continue because it is an ongoing process as people daily join and they will ask about the site and some people must be there to answer them.

Hello myl999,
It is hard to find a topic that has yet to be discussed by others due to so many people signed in here. I don't mind responding to the similar topic if it is discussed again after many months. But, to respond to the same topic for example like which do you prefer, laptop or desktop.... in a day or two, sounds a bit boring sometimes....Of course there is no one who forces you to respond if you don't want to, but as they are my friends, I just feel weird to respond to one friend and not to another friend.

HI, I used to see someone have similar discussion. But mostly I just use a word sentence to say... not much as I said on the first one tho. well, sometimes they can't find anything to talk about then pick what friends did... lolz. I never do that before but if someone does that to me then it is ok... im happy as long as they dont take my word tho.

Hello smileonstar,
Sometimes, it is just hard to find a topic that never been discussed before. I always try my best to respond to all my friends, as long as I have something to say. The response might be similar, so does the topic...and I just hope that those friends don't mind if they found out that my responses are quite similar

sometimes i do just respond to a similar discussion. because to me mylot is just like having a conversation with friends/people. when we talk we usually talk about the same topic for a while at home so i figure i'll just treat it like that. thats why, maybe because im still fairly new here, i always seem to have something to say.

Hello bunnybon7,
At times, I respond to many similar discussions in a single night. What I need to say might be similar but I am thinking about the poster of the discussion. Since they are different persons, I think it shouldn't be any problem to respond. Some of the topics really make me get bored easily but I have no proper answer why I am still responding to them!

Hello, gr8life! Well, I sometimes prefer to respond on similar discussions especially those started by new users. I like to help new users here on their questions about this site. I do it when I see new topic asking for help from a new user. After responding to that, I just dig old topics to find other interesting discussions. In that way, I can post a lot for a day. Happy mylotting and have a nice day!

Hello boogerman,
I love to dig out old discussions too but with different reason. As I spend less time here due to my busy schedules, I am left far behind. All my notifications are on and due to this, I have many old discussions that I have yet to reply. Sometimes, I respond to many similar topics in a day but since they are started by my friends, I try to be fair to all of them. I like to help the newbies too, whenever I could but I won't respond to one liner discussions.

I prefer not answer it, because there are many other discussion more interesting to response than the same old discussion. I like response to a nice topic, it makes me feel not bored and even can improve my knowledge of something. But another thing that I'm wonder of is why sometime a good topic even don't have one response at all? Is it because those topic stand on wrong block or something?

Hello flaredust,
Not only you, I who can be considered as a senior here, wonder why too. As for me, I like to respond to light topics as I spend less time here (though sometimes I am addicted to myLot) and I don't want to think too much of my answer (bad me...) Responding to discussions is my top priority here and I always do that through my e-mail as all the notifications are on. That is the reason sometimes, I respond to few similar discussions started by different friends.

Hello kanecn,
When I am addicted to myLot (which happens sometimes...) I don't mind responding to similar discussions many times in a day. But when I am having myLot burnout, I get bored easily. All the time, I respond through my e-mail notifications and that's one reason why I feel 'guilty' to respond to one friend and not another, for the similar topic!
