Who is your favorite character on Greys Anatomy and why?

For me it is Meridith Grey . . I think she is true to herself in no mattter what situation she gets in. She is smart, medicine is her passion, she deals with being the daughter of a tough woman and shows little or no anger at all she has found out about her (let alone the mother her mother was to her while she was growing up) and I do believe she and Dereck are truly in love and belong together.

me too. I like her character. She's strong and I'd like to be like her. I am like an izzie but if I have to be one of the characters I want it to be like yang. she knows what she want and do it without regard to other people feelings. I'd like to be like that

Izzie is my favorite. Katherine Heigl has been one of my favorite actresses since she was on Roswell (where she also played an Izzie). I hope they bring her back next season. 
She wants to stay as long as the producers/writers/directors want to keep her.
I really expected them to "cure" her tumor with Derek and Meredith's experimental virus treatment. Maybe that will come later.

Me too guys.. She really has this strong and funny personality that I really like. I just think she`s really cool and very pretty and sexy. I want her back. like ASAP.. heheh..

I like Meredith Grey. She just compels me with how she lives her life and her view with regards to life. She depicts how I am now and then thus im drawn to her character in Grey's Anatomy. And also I love her match up with the hot guys in the sitcom.

I couldnt agree with you more sublime03! and the bonus of being Meredith . ..is Derek . .. now he sends me .. . .to places only my imagination can wander to!I really do love all the characters so it was hard to choose ,, but hands down my fav is Meredith &hearts

I've got totally attracted by the character of Cristina Yang. She is intellegent, reasonable, cool and has a very strong mind. She goes for excellency. I don't think she's emotionless, but to the contrary, she wants pure feelings and she's loyal to her heart. And also Addison, a woman with a great balance between career and life. That's the kind of person I want to be.

amylan I too love Christina . .she is the smartest one of the bunch . .and I am loving seeing her emotions finally come to the surface . . and I love the girlfriend she is to Meredith (and visa versa)
But in regard to Addison I already made my comments about her above . . sorry cant agree with you when it comes to Addy

I love Dr Bailey's character, and so Cristina Yang. They are all very good actors and actresses, nice casting! Tho i'm gonna miss George as well.

Bailey is great . .though for her sake I wish she could let some of her emotions out in a more productive way . .she is smart and underneath a really great caring person.
I would love her for my dr. Cristina is great too and I think this season they are going to make her a more fun person. Though her bedside manner leaves much to be desired she is one great surgeon.
Miss George .. by George I already do . .and I cried my eyes out during the whole first episode!

I could not agree with you more. . I love both Meridith and Dereck . .and what a couple they make. .. I think what I love most about Meridith is that she is a grounded. . and doesnt believe in things that are not attainable. .and that is exactly why she has found her soul mate .. . and though she talks that there is no such thing as happily ever after I sure hope for her and Dereck they have that fairytale relationship for many moons to come!

this is one of my favourite series.
i completely loved the character of Mark Sloane (i find him so handome) and Addison Montgomery...
i also saw Private Practise with her, but in Italy this series had not the same success of Greys Anatomy, so they have interrupted at the middle of the story!

Pungi . .no no no please tell me it is not Mark Sloane and Addison you love. ha ha only kidding but I must say Addison always annoyed me because she was getting in the way for Derrick (idolize him ) and Meredith (who I am coming back as in my next lifetime!)
I was so happy they gave Addison her own show Private Practice which is not a favorite of mine (could it be cause I do not like Addison) or is it that the story lines on Private Practice are just so unbelievable (did you see this years season finale . please I am still disturbed at the thought of what they did) And as far as McSteamy Mark Sloane I am kinda liking him a bit more since he seems to be doing right by Lacie. But no one and I repeat no one could ever come close to McDreary!

I never really cared for Cristina until this season when she didntkeep the secret about the blondes cancer, and then she really let her emotional side surface when she sat outside with her just holding her. And then when she made Christina her maid of honor because she did such an honorable thing. That really touched me.

Grey's anatomy! One of my favorite TV shows! Oh and of course it would definitely be Meredith Grey. From all angles I must say. Her character is really unbelievable. She had been through hell and back, yet she still stands up and continues to improve. And that is why she deserve much hapiness she had been graced lately in the show. She is a great friend, an adorable girlfriend, A great doctor and a good sister. I admire her personality and how she acts to whatever comes to her life.

I love Meredith Grey too! I like the way she handles thing and how her character handles a lot of tough situation. Like, being a daugther of someone who has an Alzeihmer's disease. Also, it is because I can relate to the character very much.

At first my favorite character was Izzy Stevens, until she got the cancer and ran away from her husband. Now I'm starting to like Christina more and more because she really is the best doctor there and takes her job the most seriously. I also like Callie Torres and used to like George O'Malley, until he was killed.
