Why people doesn't respond to a heavy topic?

Actually it is from my own experience. I've been posting, responding & commenting, also starting a discussion. Sometimes when I start a simple discussion such as "What is your name" there are lots of respond I've get. But, when I start a new topic about something heavy such as "Hidden brain power", no one ever respond to it, at least until now. So, it is because the topic or because I start that discussion in the wrong section?

People avoided heavy topic because maybe they don't want to answer serious matter, or in my part, if the topic is not interesting and I have nothing to share then it's good to just avoid it, and besides, if I am in a hurry, and no enough time to answer discussions which require too much thinking, I just choose the easy one which requires on-the-spot answer.

Okay, I understand there are some people who don't have much time on myLotting. You sure very busy then. I realize too it is more interesting to talk about general thing or daily thing around us, because it is more relaxing to some people. I appreciate every people thought, for me sometimes I want to discuss heavy thing and sometimes I'm just picking general topic, it is based on my mood that day.

Because many people don't know the topic very well so they don't know what to reply. We have the same situation. I want to put some heavy topics for the discussion rather than general discussion. But nobody seems like it. Well, that's life. That's why I don't get lots of replies from discussion.

It is shame for us, who started some heavy topic but nobody seems interest. Also I'm thinking, are people don't get bored everyday talking about general thing which everybody else already know the answer. So, may be good to see when somebody start to looking something new, like pick a heavy discussion, or share new knowledge that not everybody know. But still, it is up to the community what topic they like the most.

Well I can tell you why I didn't respond to the Hidden brain power conversation. I read what you had posted, and had no knowledge on the conversation. So I didn't have any input to add.

Oh, that is one reasonable answer. Okay, it is good point you have there, it is not because I'm disappointed about it, I only want to know what others thought & about what topic does interest people to respond here. You have my gratitude to give me your input for me.
