Is skype better than yahoo?

Well yahoo's better with voice but skype is better with cam. If you ask me how i know its because im currently using yahoo to chat with my gf and skype to video. We like it that way and its easier since skype is better with video sync and doesnt cause so much stress on the single program.

Hey there! I use both actually but not for the same reason. I use Yahoo for chatting and Skype for Video and Audio calls. The chat feature of Skype is quite slow and sometimes it's a bit buggy. Yahoo's voice and video calling feature is choppy and the quality is not that high. With regards to the logging in with one account multiple times, I don't find that useful. I don't need to have multiple instances of Skype opened with my account.

I beleive yahoo is better because u already have you contacts in a list and most of its features are free to use as compared to skype. but skype as a normal phone is better than yahoo

I have actually used yahoo very briefly but I have been a fan of skype because of the quality of the calls and I believe in my opinion that being on cam is much easier and better on skype because of the technology behind it. I have a lot of friends that use skype and it's the main reason why I had downloaded the program. It helps me keep in touch with friends that are in different countries or someone that I haven't talked to for a long time. All around it is a wonderful program. Just to share an example, me and a close friend of mine talked for twelve hours straight on skype, yes twelve hours. So just curious going upon this topic, what is the longest call you guys have had either on yahoo or skype?

i use skype more often than yahoo because the quality of the call and the video are much better. but i like yahoo for sending or sharing photos because it is easier there. you'll just have to drag them and saving pictures in your computer is so easy.
