I believe that too many people are viewing their pets as fashion accessories and treating them like dolls instead of living breathing creatures. I'm sure that dogs probably do not appreciate being dressed up like baby dolls. They are already dressed...they have fur! Putting clothing on a dog is restricting to it's movement and most likely very uncomfortable. I think it is degrading to the poor things. They are intelligent companion animals that deserve respect. I just don't think it's right at all.

Hey, that's a very interesting thought. I personally feel that they may not like it as it will be sort of a irritating thing on their backs. Maybe they like to stay undressed and have their lovely fur protecting them the natural way. On the other hand, the pets who like to get pampered from their owners may actually like themselves getting groomed. After all, every dog has his own tastes, like humans.

I imagine that they do NOt like it or have no opinion at all, but tolerate whatever is done to them to please their owner. I think unless a dog has little or no fur and it is freezing outside, that they need no clothes. In that case a sweater is fine.
