Hey pelastikbintang! Where are you from? If you are planning to visit Malaysia, yes there are indeed so many interesting places you can venture. First, I recommend you the beautiful breathtaking islands. You should try have a peek on the net, look how amazing Pulau Perhentian is. It's nothing like others. Pulau Tioman on the other hand, is more relaxing. Also check out Pulau Pangkor, Pulau Pinang, Port Dickson, Langkawi, Pulau Paya in Kedah and lots more. The beaches may not be as good as they used to be but I promise they're all worth going. The environment there makes them fun to visit. Another highlight in Malaysia -Kuala Lumpur. The capital of the country. For me, it's the best among all. I've been living here in KL since.. forever and I'm happy to tell you that KL is A MUST for one who's planning to travel to Malaysia. The busy lifestyle here day and night will catch your eye. It's havoc! KL is the best place to shop too. But I have to say you will not be happy with the traffic. Next, if your interest goes to the green side -actually, you better just come here and just look around. The flora and fauna will amaze you wherever you go. They're everywhere. I am a true Malaysian and proud of being one :D My mom has her own travel and tour company, so if you're decided to have a holiday here.. I say GO FOR IT! It won't regret you. And I can be your tour guide. lol. Happy mylotting to you! By the way, pelastikbintang bisa ngomong melayu?

Your intention is good but if you want to promote Malaysia try doing it on other Interests like Travelling, Traveller, and Life. People assume that this Interest, Malaysia, deals on issues specifically related to Malaysia. There are many places of interest in our country. Another method of promoting is to be specific instead of being general. There are tourists who travel to a destination for specific reasons. Scuba diving and mountain climbing are examples. So we concentrate on one. By being in the above mentioned Interests and possibly others too we can respond to discussions based on where to go I did once. all the best, rosdimy

Hi pelastikbintang, When we talk about Sabah, The Land Below The Wind, Mount Kinabalu and Sipadan is the most visited place there and most of the people knew about it. But there is a lot more places that worth to visit there. Danum Valley is one of the it. It is locate near to Lahad Datu. Its attraction is for the environmental lover. It is rich with flora and fauna. Madai is for its waterfall beside Table (name of place) in Tawau. Beside that you can also go to Sepilok. It is an Orang Utan sanctuary. It is near to Sandakan Town. There is also a crocodile farm in Sandakan. If you love beach and golfing, you can go to Karambunai near Kota Kinabalu. Tg Aru also famous with it beach. Thinking of scuba and island beside Sipadan, you can go to Tunku Abdul Rahman Park (Pulau Tiga) near Kota Kinabalu. You can visit the 3 Island at once because it is near to each other. You can rent a boat from Kota Kinabalu jetty.

@khairulxox, I think that movie shoot there. The supporting actor is mostly a "orang Bajau Laut" from Semporna. Sipadan is among the best, if not the best, diving site in the world. There are a lot of tourist, local and abroad, go there everyday.

For those who are adeventurous and love nature beauty should not miss National Park (Taman Negara) in Pahang. Also, there's a lot of beautiful beaches along the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. And recently i have discovered another tourist spot called Sg Lembing in Kuantan where tourist went there to enjoy the scenery of sunrise.

There are many very interesting and beautiful places in Malaysia. You mention Sabah in North Borneo which is very nice but Sarawak in South Borneo is also nice and very interesting. I spent a night there in a long house of the former headhunters. The capital city Kuala Lumpur is my favourite city. The islands of Langkawi and Penang are other beautiful places. I love Malaysia and the friendly Malaysian people. I hope to return in October.
