If i we're really be making decision about having kids in my life, my answer is a dozen! I want a Big family, that way i can form Challenges, Happiness, and Love to a big group of people connected with each other. I am a Fun and lovable guy and i want to enjoy my life all the time so i want to have kids around my home and give all my time, effort, power and love to all of them! It's like having a Big Foundation of love in your own house. Where your kids will grow up the way you want them to be and prolong your dynasty and lively. I want to love many kids as much as a want to specially my wife. And grow old with lots of children loving you and also my future grandchildren. =)

Ours is a joint family and we are totally 11 people living under one house but i love to have a small family and i planned for only two kids as where can i adjust my economy with my kids and parents and at the same time running a big family. If at all i planned for more kids then it is a big problem for me take charge on my responsibilities.

well according to me i'd like to have 2 kids because i think we should have a small family happy and prosperous rather than having alot of children with poor education and less resources.
i agree that unlimited love is found in big families but in today's world its more about being realistic and practical. we can't go beyond our resources and entertain a big family... it can also result in unnecessary hunger of money and position which can lead to crime.

Before I had kids, I didn't want more than 1. I wanted my child to be an only child and not have to worry about sibling rivalry. I have one sibling and we've never really gotten along (her choice), so this pretty much influenced my decision. But in the end I ended up having 10...just kidding! I have 2. I just wanted to see if you were paying attention. LOL But it's still one more than I had originally wanted. And my husband wants us to have one more, so we shall see what happens..

One or two kids are always good.If you have 1 or 2 kids you can take care of them well, provide them better education, food and all comforts of life whereas more children means more adjustment and limit their demands, so have one or two childrens and live life to its full and happily

I believe two will be okay for me and above all with these finacial crisis I will want to have only two to be able to look after them and to provide them with all necessary stuffs whether for school, college, or life as a whole.

Hi Jayson...
I grew up with three siblings and I will always treasure those memories of growing up with them. Some were happy, wacky, sad, and some were action-filled memories especially with my youngest sister. We always end up yanking each other's hair when our teasing turned for the worse!
At first, my husband wanted a single child. But I wanted to have 4 kids. Then, we had our son. My husband changed his mind eventually and told me that he now wanted to have three kids. And we both agreed on that.
Our son is almost 6 years old now. He now has a baby sister who's almost 2 months old. Actually, my baby girl should have been our third child. But in 2007, I miscarried when I was only 4 weeks pregnant.
Now that we have 2 kids, I asked my husband if he still wants another child. But his answer is a little unclear. As for me, I would love to have another child.
But my pregnancies have never been easy. When I was a few weeks pregnant with my baby girl, I was hospitalized due to severe nausea and vomiting that I lost consciousness and was mildly dehydrated. And my pregnancy with my son was a difficult one, too.
So, I do want to have one more child. Because I would love to have a family like the one I have grown up with. But there are things to be considered. My husband and I are thinking about that now.
For now, our child number 3 is on hold....

welcome to the wonderful world of mylot. i only have a son he is three years old now. his pictures appears as my avatar. i dont know if i can still have more but my wife had been through a lot of miscarriages before wwe hit the jackpot. and now she is scared to get pregnant again. because of what happened at the past. but i respect her decision. having a big family is fun but you need to be able to provide with all they need.

That is a very nice thought Jayson. In an era like this many parents dont want to have kids or some more than 1 or 2. Its a trouble for them since they work, have their careers etc. I am not against anyone and its entirely their choice. In olden days people had more than 10 kids dozens as you say.
Children light up your house, your day and yes bring a lot of happiness. One also has to be earning enough to take care of a dozen children. :) Children! We always thought of having 2 kids so I would say i wanna have 2 kids. May be once i have my 2 kids will plan to have more:)
My cousin has 5 children and she is happy the eldest is 23 and youngest is 7 and she told me she would love to have more kids but cant have kids.
It was nice replying to this question. Wish you many children and all the happiness with them around you.
Happy Mylotting!

I always wanted to have two kids as they will be true companion and friends of each other and many values of life can be imbibed by children on their own like caring for your peers, sharing of things and other adjustments.
I have a son who is 1.4 years of age and he is my bundle of joy.But after facing difficult financial situations,i think it will be prudent on my part to have only one child. After all i want best of everything for him and after taking into consideration the inflation and cost of living ,i think i can manage only one child comfortably.

ok here it goes i have 4 kids age 14, 11, 10, 1 and while each of the bring something to our family and each are so unique in thier own way. i will tell you this with the way that prices are today as well as the economy its really hard to provide for all of them, and i'm not just talking about food, clothes and the basics, when i was looking for ins for our family for the six of us to have health ins. it is over 800.00 dollars a months my first 3 kids thier father is in prison so i receive medicade for them so i pay for just 3 and its over 350.00 dollars.
i would not trade anything in the world for my kids, i want to be able to give each one what they deserve, so hard.

I realistically want only 2 kids maybe 3 but that is the most. I do not want to have 1 kid because I do want my kids to have siblings to grow up with. I do not think I can handle much more than 3...plus I don't know if my boyfriend and I will be able to comfortably support more than 3 kids in the long run. That's the most important thing. I would rather have a smaller family where I can dote on the kids more than have to have them share everything.

I have one and another on the way, I do want more but my partner has said no as although I love being pregnant I get alot of problems with my pregnancies and he doesnt like seeing me in pain. I understand his reasons but I would quite happily have at least 5 maybe more. I wont lie though they are hard work!! My daughter is 1 in 2 weeks and she is into everything!!

I have one daughter and that's all I'm having. I have a nedical condition preventing me from having more though. I'm happy with just one because you get to focus more time and attention on one child then you would 12. It would be nice to have another somewhere along the road, but I like the possibilities of only have one. They get more emotionally and financially in my opinion.
