Hi dear friends,
I love tattoo. I would really love to have some on me. But i simply have no courage. I would say giving birth the natural way compare to a needle on your skin would have make tattoo making like drinking water, painless. But somehow, I couldn't make myself do it. Would you do it? If you've done it, share with us the experience and is it worth it?

I have two tattoos myself, sure it can be a bit painful, but I have a high tolerance to pain. If you do end up getting a tattoo make sure you are certain you want it because it is on you for life, you don't want to get one that in five years time you will regret. I can tell you that the wrist will most probably be painful, I have one there, and on my upper arm, that wasn't so bad but still when the needle hit bone is stung. But like i said, its worth it if you are certain you want it.

Scary. Hit the bones?! Yikes. What about tattoo on the back shoulder, will it be less painful? Since it has more flesh. Isn't there any pain killer available? Or anaesthetic?

Wow, I've been so busy, didn't realise its 5 days past.
I'm thinking of putting a nice mystic knot symbol. A Chinese symbol that represent neverending peace, love, good health, good wealth and relationship with all family members, friends colleages and whoever come in contact with us.
A small one actually so that it won't turn ugly when i'm older and my skin saggy.

No pain killers, well i suppose you could ask them but yeah, and i don't know about the back shoulder. What do you plan on getting?

I have 7 tattoos now and plan to get more. I love my tattoos and would not trade them for anything. They are beautiful pieces of art that no one can take away from me. Each one is a reminder of a certain time in my life.
If you are scared of the pain it is not that bad. It really depends on the area on your body in which you are getting the tattoo. The closer to the bone the more painful. Stay away from more sensitive areas like the inner arm. The pain level also depends on the artist. If they artist is "heavy handed", presses down hard, the pain will be more intense. So always ask for references from people who have had tattoos. Also always check out the artists work before getting the tattoo. Just because they have the equipement does not mean they have talent. Also make sure they always use new needles that have been sealed prior to use and that they change these needles in your presence.
The pain is more annoying than anything. After you get the tattoo the first few days the area feels like a sunburn. The small amount of pain is so worth it.
