Have you ever told stories to your children at bed trime?

It is a habit with me and my wife, whoso ever is free tells a story to the children and they are nice listeners to that. So intensly they listen to the stories that they feel the real characters out of them and it makes them fall asleep!

yes we tell stories to our kids at bedtime... but not all the time, only when we have more free time before going to sleep. my husband is the best story teller, most of the stories he tells are made up on the spot... lol and he tells it really good like it had happened already. sometimes he tells scary ones, which my kids like hearing, they dont get afraid that easily though especially my eldest, they just like to hear scary stories.

Hello dhawanbm, I love to listen to stories every now and then before getting to bed, sometimes my dad does it for me and now I got a boyfriend who is so caring and is willing to do it for me. When I will have me babies I will do the same with them.

it is really nice and kids love to listen stories.yes...i always tell stories to my kids at bed time.we actually divide the work in everything.i tell stories when they go to bed and my hubby tells them whenever they want in the morning times u know weekends and all.i think thats why my kids are more interested in reading books.:)
