Barca is over. We lost, as the papers in my country spotted this headline
"United. Outplayed, outclassed, outfoxed"
Another, said
"United - in failing"
Which, even as a Red Devil fan, I can't deny it has been a terrible match. Winning the league ain't no difficult feat, cos of the depth we possess. But come next season, when liverpool do build up their reserves and strengths, we might even find oursevles in a mess of a position to reclaim our English throne.
Looking at the strength of our starting XI alone, we have already lost to Barca. Controversially, we may even lose to rivals Liverpool and even Chelsea.
As the season draws to a close, the transfer rumours are bound to fly. But who, you think should Man Utd target, and maybe even who he should be replacing!
For a start, I think Ribery. To replace Giggs. But our beloved 11, shall still stay in the team, and provide his moments of brilliance and guidance off the pitch.
Cheers!

Hey, come on, every dog has his day! ManU just had a off day, it doesn't really matter. Remember they have the EPL, supposedly the best Premiership in the whole world.
I don't think they need to send off the old players but they may add fresh blood in the form of Ribery, as you've said. But, as I write this I hear news of Ribery being linked to Chelsea. Let's see what they have in store for them.

U know, I don't think it's exactly Man Utd's off=day really. I mean, winning the league is 'cos we have the squad depth. If you take a look at our head-to-head with the big teams, it ain't that ideal as well. We won this season, mainly cos of Liverpool's inability to win games that they ended up drawing, but we managed to win those, some scrap thru w champions luck, some playing well.
Undeniably, our starting XI ain't as ideal as we all hope. That's why, if Fergie wants another Champs league b4 he retires, I guess we probably gotta invest in some top players =( money money money ...
N if Ribery really costs like the amount he's rumoured to be, it''' be unrealistic as well to try get him. Any comments anyone?
