Which are your top three possessions?

Like you one of mine is my camera - I saved all my vouchers to buy it as it was expensive but, worth it and I have already taken thousands of pictures on it! My others would be my books and by that I mean the books and all the book cases I keep them on - ideally one day I would have a room for them all and have really high ones with a ladder to reach the top! My last item is probably my trinkets as a whole as I collect bits and bobs from around the world - things like a little wooden trinket box from Thailand or my miniature buddha. x

This is really hard, because the things I love most are things which have sentimental value which my family members have given me - and it's hard to choose just a few. One of my daughters gave me a bracelet for my 50th birthday with three trollbeads on it - and she gives me two new beads for it on birthdays and Christmas. It's nearly full now, and I love it. Another daughter gave me a beautiful crystal fish - and the third gave me an antique ceramic bowl with a lid, covered in little botanical plants and insects. My son built me a bookcase - and my husband has given me lots of wonderful and surprising things over the years (including my espresso machine which I couldn't live without!) I also have lots of beautiful bracelets my parents have given me for birthdays over the years, which all have treasured memories. (I feel very spoilt when I write it all down!)

lol the 1st is same with u, my laptop. i have it since 2 years ago, and i think i'm lucky. coz whatever i need to do, lots of programs i need, this laptop still can work well and optimal. i can create a graphic designs, arrange a musics, make some programming applications, or just to having fun with the video, musics, pictures, etc. this laptop is my love and my partner lol.. second is my cell phone, Sony Ericsson..it also fulfill my needs. i have it since a year ago and i'm grateful..i dont need a very high technology, but as long as it's matched with my needs lol.. the third hmm..maybe my scooter lol coz it's like a partner for me too. i ride it to my work or anywhere. it's small but fast lol i can go anywhere, anytime with it.. hmmm..yep-yep i think that's it for now lol

my top three possessions are my clothes,my shoes, and my laptop.my clothes are important for me because they protect my body against foreign irritants and temperature changes.my shoes are important for me since they protect my feet.my laptop is important to me because I use it most of the time to earn money,whether online or my projects.

Oh I'm glad you asked, lol, you may think i'm crazy but I have a laptop and a fast PC at home... there are my number one favorite among my possessions and I'm so glad that I bought it from my own money from selling my paintings, lol, actually I'm trying to target a netbook this summer, lol. My second most favorite possession is my tablet - wacom intuos 3, the tool I used for my digital paintings; and the third is my books. I have a mini library at home filled with computer books, accounting, management, taxation, finance, economics, business law, lol you name it, I used to study alot and now I'm just downloading an ebook on the internet. I love the internet so much, it made my life easier.

i think i agree with you, apart from my laptop, my mobile phone and my money seems to be the possessions that i cherich most, i like to spend some money to buy some stuffs and i also like to make use of my mobile phone to take some pictures and share it through the bluetooth into my laptop and the pictures often look great

I think that my real estate is my top possessions. My first piece I acquired in 1993. I was very young and am so glad I bought it now. The second piece I bought in 2006. It is very unique and can sometimes be a bit of a pain, but I look at it as a retirement fund. My third favorite possession would probably be my Corvette. I have been spending years refurbishing it. And I have finally got it in running condition. Just a few more things and I will be able to drive it. I can't wait. Interesting discussion, thanks for starting it and have a great day!

I love my thinkpad laptop most of all and I have had it for about twelve months so far. I use it to serch for some useful materials, email professors. Just now, I received an email from a professor in University of Tokyo. I read the email while mylotting! haha, it is just fun! My second favorite possesion is also my Sumsung digital camera. I love taking pictures of the nature things including the flowers, trees, cats, etc. The third import thing that I pocess may be the books that I assemble all the years. I don't even pay attention to most of the books I dump overthere. However, I just feel hard to be apart with them. So, the books are still there no matter how useless they are. It is the time to throw away some of them actually.

My top would have to be my laptop. It allows me to communicate and make money. I was given this laptop used, and I've kept it working great for over a year now. Next up, would be my iPod. Music motivates me to do so much. I bought it around christmas time. My third is my dog. She's very funny, and excitable.

My 3 favourite things are my laptop, my photo albums and my diaries. I love my laptop, I use it to surf the internet and to write short stories or letters to my friends. I also use my laptop to listen to music. I love to search for new music on Youtube and I like to discover music from many different countries. I also use my computer to edit my photos and to make photomanipulations. My photoalbums are also very important to me. I have travelled a lot and I have lived abroad in the past. I like to look at my old photos and they all remind me of my trips and the time that I have spent in other countries. My diaries are also very precious to me. I starting writing a diary 10 years ago, I don't write every day, but I already have about 10 diaries.

I must say my laptop, my clothes, flip flops and shoes, and lastly my iPod Video. I really love my laptop because it is very useful in so many ways, in communicating others, in researching, in entertainment and of course in making money online. Haha! By the way, I had it for a year now. I treasure also my clothes, flip flops and my shoes. And to tell you honestly I have lots of these. Hehe! I really love to shop and to collect fashionable things. I really love to dress up. And I'm still on the process of acquiring more! As in more! And of course, I also love my iPod Video. This is where I store my videos, my music and also my photos. I think my favourite top possessions are my life,my work and my friends.first health is the most important for us.Having a strong body is the first present from my parents.My work is so important to support my family.In order to live a happy life we must work hard.My friends help me a lot.Without friends I can't live happily.As to other things,I think they are not so important in life.They are extravagant.

My Bible, My purity ring, my music collection

I would have to say that my top favorite possession is my house, because my wife and I worked so hard to get it. When my wife and I got married, we had to live in a really crappy place. It was poorly insulated, so it was really hard to heat and cool it. We had two window-unit air conditioners to use during the summer time, and we used space heaters to keep it as warm in the house as we could during the winter. There were days that I would go to work early and just hang out until I had to clock in because is was so cold in the house that I would lose the feeling in my hands while sitting around. The place was also really small, and we barely had enough room to move around. We worked every day and held on to the dream to get a better place. In 2006, after five long years, we were finally able to get a better house. We picked a modest place. It has three bedrooms, and two bathrooms, and a nice living room and kitchen. In our old place, we only had room for a love seat and an entertainment center to put the TV on. The place we have now has room for a love seat, couch, coffee table, and entertainment center, and it has plenty of room to spare, but it is not too big. We have central heating/air conditioning, and it is really easy to keep it comfortable inside. I think we really made a good choice. The place we have now is big enough to be functional, but it is nothing excessive. I knew that a huge house would be more to pay for, heat/cool, and maintain, so I didn't want a really big house. I would have to say that my second favorite possession is my laptop. I use it all the time, and it does what I need it to do. I have had it for about four years now, and it has never given me any trouble. I probably need to have it updated or something, but it still works fine. I like the fact that I can take it anywhere I want to go, and I can get online as long as there is a wireless network nearby. My third favorite possession is probably my truck. It is a 1998 Chevy Blazer 4-door. It has a Vortec V-6 engine, and it serves me well. I try to take care of it. It is serving my needs for now, but I will probably have to upgrade later on to a truck with a little more towing/hauling capacity. I plan to drive the one I have now for at least another year or so though.

I suppose my computer, my camera and my TV are important.But I wouldn´t know what to do with a lot of kitchen appliances and even if my car is dumb and doesn´t take me too far, I can go shopping with it and visit my children. So, for me, friend, there are lots of prized possessions and I´ve never been able to name which is on top. I can´t even do that with books as it depends on the state of mind. Hug
