How did you choose your wedding bands?

I was wondering how everyone here chose their wedding bands.
Did you just go with the tradition gold/silver bands? Or did you want something different?Jake and I decided we didn't want the traditional wedding bands, so we got him a titanium band (if he can break it, he will, so we needed something strong) and I got a band with sapphires because I wanted sapphires (it's my favorite color, stone, and my birthstone). Besides, both of them were on sale, so we got both rings for $150.
So how did you choose your wedding bands?

Hey!
My fiance and I chose our wedding bands through limoges, a jewelry site that we also bought our engagement rings on. They are both gold as we both don't really like silver. It's simple, and it cost us only about $8.00 because they were on sale!

Yes, We were surprised to find some that cheap and they look very good as well. I think it was a winter sale. http://limoges-jewelry.com is the website I think, if you want to check it out!

I wasn't sure about the dash, but undoubtedly it's without it.

it took us about 2 months to pick our wedding band. at first, we wanted it personalized or custom made but the jeweler wont make it on time so we decided to pick the other design that is thick and strong. its white&yellow gold band, with small diamond on both rings. we first chose to have a platinum ring but we had to cancel it because we didnt like the only design available. we got our rings for about $640.

we never had a chance to buy an engagement ring so we took the one with a small diamond. the jeweler gave us the diamond on his band as a gift thats why we both have diamonds on our rings. its a very simple ring. maybe the thickness made it pricey.
