Is there really Unconditional Love?

I do too believe that only God is capable of such love but we as human strive hard to give such love as this we are never perfect and such love as this is so rare. I think I can in a similar way give such love as this but not to the full extent. I dont know if the love I gave is unconditional but I know I can easily fall for a person even with her bad side. I can easily accept their worst part coz that is part of who they are.

Yes, by allowing God's spirit to live in us, we have the same ability to love others unconditionally just as He does. it doesn't mean that others won't do things that we won't like or that we'll never get angry with other but when the rubber meets the road, we won't lose our ability to love.

Hi iceblade, I agree that God loves us all unconditionally but than God knows all about us and understands why we do the things that we do. It is much harder for us, but I think most of us love our children unconditionally. As for other relationships, it becomes more difficult but if we realize that we all make mistakes and that we don't all have the same opportunities in life, we can become a little more understanding.
