It scares me sometimes to experience ESP moments. I will be thinking of someone, and that person will call me within minutes. I once dreamed that my cousin broke her neck falling off a table, and the next day she came over with a neck collar on, from falling off a ladder. But the worse kind of ESP I experience, is when I feel I know someone on the first meeting. By their walk, talk, and actions, I kind of get a picture of them in my mind...and often it is not a nice picture. Then I get mad and tell myself that I should not judge a person at first glance...or judge them at all. So I become friends with them. Then I find months down the road that they were exactly what I pictured them to be at our first meeting. I hate that! I wish they would prove me wrong.
I also get anxieties when something goes wrong with a loved one, even before I know what really happened. It seems that I can sense something bad happening.
Has this ever happened to you? What would you call this to be...I don't want to have extra sensory perception!

The nexgt time you meet someone and you get that bad feeling about them, you should go with it. Long time ago, I read a book called "How to make ESP work for you." He starts by talking about how he was typing on his typewriter. It started to get dark. he got up to turn the light on, but the minute he touced the light switch he heard an inner voice say "don't turn on the light." After a few times, he decided he was not going to listen to this nonsense any longer. He got up when there was a knock onnthe door. Without turning onnthe lght, he answerd the door and there was a linesman who shouted out to him Don't turn onnthe light! There's a line down. He then goes on to say everybody has ESP, you just need to know how to use it. I believe it. If here is any way you can get ahold of that book, you shoulde try. It's by Harold Sherman. He also has another one that might be easier to find, "thoughts through space. Both are very interesting.

Thanks so much for your suggestion! It's hard to go with that gut instinct when you really want to do something or talk to someone that your body gut is telling you no to. The book sounds great, and since I love to read, I will definitely look it up! Thanks again

Hi Sweetchariot, I think that we all have ESP whether we want to have it or not. Some people of course, have it to a much greater extent than others. Many people probable think that they don't have it at all but that's because they never think about these things or just don't believe in it. I have experienced it a few times in my life but it has always been in a positive way. Blessings.

Thank you for all not making me feel I'm different. Unfortunately I have sister who doesn't seem to think as deep as I do, therefore she can never understand what I am feeling. So, it does cause me to think that I am odd. It's great to know that I am no different than everyone else.

i have had incidents of ESP in my life. i had a dream about my brother being in the hospital and all of us around his bed and i asked him what was wrong and he put his arm up to show me he had injured his upper arm near the bicep and had to have surgery. the next day my mom came by and told me my brother was going in for surgery on his bicep muscle because he tore it at the gym the day before! i just sat down on the couch and i was flabbergasted. another time i thought of a male friend of mine i had not thought about in years as he had gone to prison for something (still do not know what it was) and that night he called me to tell me he was out of jail! another time i had a dream about a guy i went to grammar school with up until 8th grade. at the point i had the dream i had not seen him in many years, about 10 or so. i dreamt that we got together as a couple for a bit and it actually happened about 4 years after i had the dream. a premonition if you will. i had no contact with this person at all for many years. it scares me now to dream about a loved one because i never know if it is a dream or a premonition of some sort.

Sorry my friend but, you're stuck with it. The truth is...we all are! Why? Because...E V E R Y B O D Y has ESP ability to some extent or another. Yours, is simply more developed than most. I would suggest that you EMBRACE your gifted subconscious ability, and use it as a "tool" to guide you through your experiences.
Also...do not "hate it" as you say, for this will lead you to focus on the NEGATIVE side of issues, and will only RE-ENFORCE their reality. ACCEPT it and be THANKFUL you have this gift. The more you do, the more you will experience an enormous change within and about yourself...one that is brighter, more "loving-based", and easier to live with.

I am totally the same way.
Why don't you want to have extra sensory perception?
Things like that are a curse and a gift at the same time. Its all in how you take it.
Learn to use it and it can benefit you. Ignore it and it will continue to bother you.
Good luck either way.

Everyone has had these experiences. I think our minds pick up on things subconsciously and pieces them together and comes up with a probable outcome. That means we can predict the future fairly well. The most important part is that we don't remember when our predictions are incorrect. We only remember when we are right. So it appears that our predictions are always right.
