Have you ever took a relationship for granted?

Hello there. I want to ask any of you who might be interested to comment. Have you ever took a relationship for granted? How does it ends?Or you slowly falls in love with that person and determine to stick to that relationship.

i had once, and i tell you that it was my biggest disappointment. if i haven't taken her and our relationship for granted then probably she could be still around with me, smiling and laughing out loud.
it was the second time that my happiness my taken away from me, and this time it was the worst. i almost lost my insanity and the sad part is that i had almost end up my life.
experiencing it twice, i guess i finally learned my lesson the hard way. but i think that the third time would take a while before it happen.

Glad you are still around rymebristol. We can never know what we have taken for granted until they are gone. Losing someone is hard. Lesson learn then we should move on. Wish you all the best.

I think I am taking my relationship with my husband for granted! We have been together a year in July and I know that he's always going to be there for me and have no doubts about it. Maybe it's because we are in our 60's and I figure he's not going anywhere any time soon. I try to be there for him as often as I can but think it should be more.

Maybe you should talk to him about it. Keeping that feeling to yourself will make it worst from time to time. Perhaps, you can travel with him, go on a vacation maybe. Just a suggestion. I wish the best for both of you.
