Familial Dysautonomia is a Jewish genetic disorder which isn't contagious that affects the autonomic nervous system. The symptoms can include: swallowing problems, respiratory problems, floppy muscle tone, blood pressure issues with both low and high, retching, and sensory such as not being able to feel the difference between hot & cold. Has anyone ever heard of Familial Dysautonomia? Does anyone know someone with the disorder?
