Commercials, watch them? skip them?

I don't like commercials, so I don't watch, I just mute the TV and put on some music till they finish...some people watch them patiently and some just change the channel...I wouldn't have that big a problem with them if they weren't put at the worst possible times, imagine you're watching a movie on Tv and its like this:
*main character explores important plot location, monster comes up, eats minor characters, main character leaves* COMMERCIAL *backstory about the monster, blah blah blah, story blah, blah blah blah, boring speeches blah, main character arives at dungeon, finally some action!* COMMERCIAL *monster eats everyone but main character(s), help arrives, kicks the monster around, monster defeated, characters explore the place in detail, turns out there was a whole species of monsters, ominou music* COMMERCIAL *death, doom, destruction, deodorant (this is unrelated)* COMMERCIAL *less than 5 mins worth of video, THE END!* COMMERCIAL.
I hate it when they do that...

I usually just ignore them or go find something else to do. it wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to see the exact same ones over and over. I used to have dvr so I could skip them. that was nice.

I don't really mind having to watch the same commercial all the time if its funny or smart but most aren't...It gets boring having to see the same people appearing on your tv telling you to buy for example body care products because they tried them and they work and they wouldn't change it for the world and blah blah...

I really hate commercials with a passion. I have tivo, so they get fast forwarded for the most part. God bless tivo.

Yeah I fast forward them too if I can, there is a service here where they tape some channels 24/7 and you can view these anytime you wish within 3 days after their airing, I don't know if you meant that but whatever.

I hate commercials myself and I usually change channels or get up and do something that needs to be done. Get a snack, bathroom, laundry whatever it is and then by the time I get back the show is usually just coming back.

I know exactly what you mean. Unfortunately however they are needed because TV networks need funds...

When a commercial comes on i tend to do a bit of tidying up until they have finished.Sometimes i make a drink and do a bit of mylotting until they have finished.I used to record the programs then i used to speed or fast forward it past all the commercials,they seem to be so long now adays and lets face it if you wanted to buy the stuff you would have rather than watching it on commercials.Happy mylotting

Not to mention that most of what they say on commercials is total BS, the best way to find out what's best is to find other people's thoughts, on the net or in real life, you can just continue fast forwarding and not miss a thing...

There are some commercials that are interesting to watch but of course I dont want to watch it more than 2 times. Some are annoying so I just change the channel but like for Discovery channel I like the commercials as well and its not corny or anything. Some commercials are just so dull that you just want to sleep or something.
