My husband doesn't like fish. He said it stinks. He just can't stand the smell of fish. I think fish is good. Not all fish are super duper delicious but i think it depends upon how it is cooked. I like baked salmon but I don't think i can enjoy it fully without any flavor. I had the chance to eat this special salmon in Alaska when I was there last year and it was so good with some kind of teriyaki sauce...i guess. Still this didn't make my husband want to try to eat fish. I wonder why some people don't eat fish? A lot of them are very rich with omega-3 fatty acid which is good for our body.
Do you eat fish? If so what kind of fish do you like? If you don't like fish, why?

I do, and am very much a fish-eater since I grew up in the Philippines where people's mean dish is fish, and moreso, we lived near the seashore so a lot of fish there. I really missed a lot of fishes that I used to have while in my country and I didn't find them anymore on the stores here in the USA. One more thing, fishes are real expensive here unlike there in the Philippines. I was so shocked w/ the prices here fishes here usually cost 5-10$ and they are not even satisfactory in size; smaller slices I mean. Whereas there, 1 or 2$ is already a meal for the whole family for a day or two, and they are usually fresh and not frozen.
Also my husband never eat fish as he told me he can't stand the smell of it. I remember one time I was cooking a dried/salted fish (Filipinos know what I mean)and when he got home he was so mad and sprayed the whole house and the content of the sprayer was almost gone just to get rid of the smell that he said was too offensive to him.

Sorry to hear about your husband's reaction to your cooking fish. Tell your husband air fresheners are bad for health. It doesn't really get rid of the stinky smell around the house rather it just blocks the smell receptors on our noses to numb our sense of smell. I would rather open the windows than spray air fresheners. Take care and keep eating those fish :)

I am not a fan of fish, it just taste..weird, and it certainly has a smell.
What always confused me about fish is how some vegeterians do not consider it meat...

I love fish, fish is good for your health and easy to cook too. Actually, I love all kinds of meat tho, but I totally love fish more. some people, once they hate then they will hate and won't touch any of it at all. He might has bad experience with eating fish that's why he hate it so much. Try fry fish and he might like it tho.

i love fish!!!
in fact it's good for the brains.. and it's good for ladies during our monthly. they provide iron or something to that effect.
anyway, if the fish is not fresh, there is a high chance of it smelling bad. another thing is, if you're steaming your fish, remember to add slices of ginger. it helps get rid of the smell.
i for one am particular with the smell too.

Yeah, i like to eat fish too, they're delicious. I like most kinds of fish but i do not really know their names, haha. I'd just know that they're delicious and can only recognise some of them. I do not think that fish are stinks. Ya it depends on the cook too to make the fish delicious and looks nice. However, fish are quite expensive nowadays that i do not eat it very often, just once in a while.
Some people do not eat fish is partly due to they're allergy against seafood, some are really serious type. Some of my friends are allergy to many types of seafood, including fish. It's kinda waste that they can't enjoy the good taste of seafood and fish.

I'm not that fond of seafood, but I do like some fish. I like white fish, like cod and halibut. I love fish & chips, but I'm not too crazy about fillets and stuff.
I tried a sausage that was made of ground fish once, and it was pretty good.

Fish doesn't smell when it's cooked, at least I don't think it does. I eat fish once a week.

I don't like fish. So I can totally understand your husband. I love all kinds of meat, but when it comes to fish, I always hesitate.Out of no reason, I feel sick when I have them.My mother tries to pursuade me into it, but that only makes me hate her(kidding:) I think some people don't eat something just because they are born like this. After all, there are so many mysteries about human body that we have no definit answer yet, right?
