In hindi there is a saying:
"Baap bada na Bhaiya, Sabse bada Rupaiya"
It means that Nor father, neither brother but every thing is money. My friend was a firm believer in it. Even you can experience it in your life. You can give money to get your results cleared in school, you can even give money to complete your work. Big people can give bribe to come out of jail and there could be n number of situaions where people can get out of any bad patch using money!

Money is a tool, and only a tool. We use it to get the material things we need and if we have extra we get things we want and give to those who are less fortunate. Money itself doesn't give you power, it's what you can do for others that gives you power.
There are many, many people with more money than they can ever spend that are nothing in this world. They consume, they spend, they show off and enjoy their money but when they are gone from this earth, nobody will remember them as anything but "those people who threw their money around and gave great parties". They are NOTHING! They make no difference in the world.
You are "something" if you use whatever money you have to better the world. Even if you only give a dollar to a beggar when you can, or support your church or donate to a charitable fund when you can, you can make a difference. It's not how much you give, it's your attitude when you give it. Money itself is not power and does not buy love, companionship or satisfaction. There is a reason the Bible says "the love of money is the root of all evil". When you love money, you get greedy and selfish and stop caring about your brother and sister humans. When you USE money as a tool to improve your life and your world, then you truly have power--over yourself and over money.
