Now, I've watched and enjoyed these new adventures of Sarah Jane, and loved her showing up in the one adventure with Tennant, and again when she showed up on the final epi with the Master a while back. But now The Doctor will be on her show, that can only help boost the ratings, tho I have no idea how its doing over in Britian... I have to say that Sarah Jane was one of my top 5 companions, right up there with Leila, Ace and Martha. So, what do you guys think, I know I'll watch it as soon as I can! http://uk.news.yahoo.com/21/20090526/ten-tennant-s-doctor-joins-sarah-jane-5f8abb3.html

Hi ElicBxn, You have just made my day with this post This news must have slipped under my radar over here. It will be great to see the Doctor on Sarah Jane and will maybe one of Tennants last appearances as the doctor apart form the specials. I have seen all the Sarah Janes episodes but the new ones will the Doctor will just be the best.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to all the Doctor I can get. I think Tennant is up to #2 on my fav Doctors list and like I said, Sarah Jane has always been a favorite companion.

That would be a yes, I have to say he's also a very nice person, tho I think he'd probably be tough on you if you cross him. Collin is also a very nice man, tho I didn't much care for his Doctor, probably because JNT & the Beeb yanked him around so.

Tennant has done a great job in the role and I think he will be missed when he is gone. Matt Smith will have some big shoes to fill. So I guess your number one was Tom Baker ?

I watched a few episodes of Sarah Jane but it has a more of a "kiddyish" tone to it and thus it didn't really appeal to me. I like his acting though so I may consider watching it again just to see if it spices it up a bit.

Sarah Jane was aimed at the kids market but what Doctor Who fan could resist watching it ? I will definitely not miss the new season with the Doctor in it.

I have to admit I wasn't overwhelmed with it, but sometimes you have to take what SF you can get... and wrestling on the SciFi channel don't cut it!

I hate how they make me wait too long for the things I am looking forward too. Sarah Jane and Torchwood and Doctor Who. At least I have Robin Hood and Primeval to keep me busy until the others return. I will really miss David. I just love his quirky voice and mannerisms. The first thing that goes through my head when I think of him is, "Am I Ginger? I've always wanted to be Ginger."

yeah, that's a great line, tho some of us would call Colin kind of Ginger, but as I pointed out, he was really a blond - sort of....

I watches the Sarah Jayne Adventures when it first came out. I assumed it would be a one or two episode thing. But when that tbit finished, Just after she met the Doctor again, a few months after that, it moved to the CBBC Channel, and its more fore people fromlike 11-15, but I dont watch it. I suppose it will increase the ratings but, wait and see isnt it.

Honestly, I'll take all the Doctor I can get, I don't mind spin offs if they are people that I rather like, like Capt Jack and Sarah Jane. After all, Doctor Who is for the "family" crowd, Torchwood is more adult, so Sarah Jane being for the younger crowd doesn't bother me, since I actually like the kids she's acting with.

I am sure that would be great to see her on that show. I am sure that would help there ratings as well. Sara Jane is one of my favs as well. I wacthed her durig the tom baker era and the john petree era.

Yeah, I am really fond of Sarah Jane, and I'm so glad to see Elizabeth working - not that she wasn't working after Doctor Who, but those of us in the states never got to see her.

I had no idea that David Tennant was going to be on another show after finishing an awesome run as Dr. Who. I'm curious as to the new Dr. I'm sure some of you in the UK are already watching Dr. Who but for those of us in the states, we are behind.

apparently, this and the last 2 specials are it for David's run - 4 years isn't the worst (that would be 1 year) and it sure has made him a star - he's a very good actor

I've only seen a few episodes of the sarah jane adventures but I'm truly excited that The Doctor is going to be appearing in the new series, particularly as it is going to be when he is still played by David Tennant - I can't say that I like the look of the new guy who has been cast as the 11th Doctor.

I think Matt has something to say, but it isn't looks or we wouldn't have had Syvelster McCoy... If they think he'd make a good Doctor, and I trust Moffett, then he probably will. But it is exciting to see the Doctor played by Tennant none the less.
