Pope Benedict announced he has a facebook account, will you be friends with him?

Facebook has been very famous nowadays and in fact has ranked number one in social networking sites in the web. The Pope has announced that he is in facebook too to be able to reach the youth and spread Catholic teachings online. What is your opinion on this? Will it be effective? Will you invite the Pope to be your friend in Facebook?

I don't think so. Cause the Pope has so many freinds and he will not remember me or notice me. I wish my freind care me and watch me. Yet the pope has too many people to care. I know I am selfish and also maybe you think I am talking about another subject. Anyway, tell me what you think?

you may be right. the Pope has too many things to do and too many people to talk too that he may be too busy to go to facebook. i guess he has assistants who maintain the account and updates him everyday. every person has his right to his or her opinion. thanks for your reply.
