2 weeks to go before our 3rd anniv and I still haven't found a gift for him!

My Boyfriend and I are celebrating our 3rd year anniversary this coming June 16 and I still haven't figured out what to give to him as a gift. I really don't have a budget for him, but I want to give him something sweet and special without further depleting my almost dead bank account. I need help!

Try giving him something that will MEAN something and doesn't necessarily cost a thing. You don't always need to buy a gift to show you care--one of my treasured gifts was a guitar pick from a guitarist I was dating! Make a memory box and place little things that will remind him of you and your relationship--costs very little but will mean a lot!

hi scorpiobabes! I really like your idea, and I'm thinking that is what I'll be giving him this coming june 16. We've only been together for 3 years, but we have been friends for almost 15 years now, and I'm thinking of filling that memory box with momentos of our friendship before we hooked up. Thanks for your wonderful idea! =)

No problem--it's great that you two do have a shared history to fill the box with. The man I've been seeing for 5 1/2 years but will be celebrating our 10th anniversary of knowing each other on June 1st has broken my heart too many times. I don't think we could fill a memory box--even the ittiest, bittiest box I could find! I'm glad I was able to give you a suggestion--after you make the box itself, you should post it to this discussion as an attachment so others could see!

hi again.. I changed my plans for my anniv gift, instead of a memory box filled with momentos from our friendship which has started since 1994.. I decided to fill that box instead with 365 notes... Notes on what I love about him, what are the things that I am grateful for.. and things that I want to say sorry for... I am in the 200s already and still counting.. I just hope I can think up 365 thank yous and sorrys cause I only have a week left to finish my gift! LOL....

It would be great to do something creative for him such as a little card or a note that he can keep in his wallet for the rest of his life. I made one for my bf a few years back and he still keeps it in his wallet. Once in a while he still brings it out and remembers the good memories. I wrote him a note and put a few pictures of us and with our son to remind him the best memories we had for that year that passed.

I drew a card to my hubby when we had dated 3 years, he loves it and he still keep it in his drawer. When we clear our stuff, we sometimes have a look of the card, and he smile at the card and smile at me as well, and then he would kiss me and thanks for my sweetness to draw him a card. I know it may be a bit old-fashioned to do it but it is quite sweet when he will look at it in the future.

anniversary is indeed a special occasion but it is not necessary to give expensive gifts. i suggest you can prepare a special dinner for him, a candle light dinner maybe in the rooftop of his place.
