There are some of the topics that come up again and again in mylot. And for the particular topic, we seem to have the same idea. And still when it comes up again and again we don't hesitate to respond. I have found myself repeating the similar response with the same meaning but with different words each time the discussion comes up. Sometimes, I feel bored to even go to that topic further more, but again I tend to respond when I have already opened that discussion.
Do you do the same? Or you hate repeating similar things again and again?

Hi,
I used to respond to the repeated topics and as I saw my response would not be different except the word order so now I no longer respond to those topic which are the carbon copy of another before.

Hello krajibg!!!
Sometimes, I too may not be in mood to right same thing again and again. It feels dull. Mostly rather than carbon copy, the discussions seems to carry same central theme but in various ways and sometimes it becomes carbon copy too. But yes we must be careful in discussion, that seems to be carbon copy of previous one, because it might get deleted and our effort can be worthless. But like you I also keep responding with same theme but different order of words...
Thanks for your response...happy mylotting...

At times, I do find myself in such a position if my friends post similar discussions. However, I challenge myself to vary my response as the discussions often are not exactly similar. If the discussions are 100% similar, too bad, I only respond to the first I responded.

Yeah whyaskq, oh what a user name hehe...why ask question isn't it...
Yes, it is better to write something new every time we write. When it comes to such type of discussions, i may be including some new things each time. But sometimes, when I get lazy, I may even deduce some of the points hehe...
Thanks for your participation in this thread...Happy mylotting...

I've given the same response before to questions, although on other sites, not mylot.
I would do it if I got the chance on mylot, though.
It's boring, but still, it makes a little money here and there, which is why most people do these sites to begin with.

Yeah savethunlikely9!!!In one way we should feel lucky to respond similar type of discussion again and again. We can easily type faster, longer and more descriptively when we response the similar type of thread again and again. And yes we are also here for earning and this will certainly help to earn faster....
Thanks for your response...happy mylotting...

Hi,nzalheart
Yesh, sometimes I respond to two similar topics.Well, people start a new discussion without knowing that others have raised the same topic,so there are many similar topics here.I respond to them because although my response is the same, but the one who raised the topic is different and my response may be helpful to him.
Have a nice day!

hi hxstar!!! you are absolutely right that it is not the same person who repeats the same discussion again and again. It may also happen that me too, being ignorant of the discussion being already started before, I may start the discussion of the same time. Then get some knowledge regarding it and then when it comes up again started by the new comers or even old ones, I may respond actively in it. Isn't it...This is like the chain of flow of knowledge and it is great about mylot...
Thanks for your response...happy mylotting...

i dont think i have see such a wonderful discussion that i will have to respond to it over and over again, i have however been tempted to respond to such discussion several times but i do overlook them and get ahead with other discussions so as to get several messages and give people advises and something to learn from

I haven't tried that before. Maybe I am still relatively new to myLot and thus I haven't seen similar topics arises again and again.
But then, if I do come across similar topics, I think I will still respond with very similar reply as I have been telling the truth and thus there is no reason I should make up another reply for another discussion thread.

Hi nzalheart, I dont think that I have ever given the same response to any two topics. even if the subject is similar or the same, i still will have something a little different to say even if the general idea is the same. there are bound to be many discussions on the same topic, but then it is our choice right ?..all the best

Hello kiran!!! Its certainly yes that, the answering or not depends totally on our choice. I too don't give the same response everywhere. But as I have said, the theme of my response would be the same but with different words. And yes, sometimes, with time, I will get even added ideas. And sometimes, when I get tired of writing same things, I may shorten the ideas too and that depends totally on my mood. Thanks for responding...Happy mylotting...Keep posting...

yes, i tend to be like that... i have responded to many discussions that are really the same, even though my response is not the same word word, i still have the same answer... lol... and yes just like you i tend to respond because i already opened that discussion. do be careful though, as repeated discussions get deleted sometimes and when you respond to it your response get deleted too and your earnings deducted.

Hello jayrene!!! Yeah may be that is the reason that sometimes my earnings get deducted by few cents. And I can't understand why sometimes the earnings get increased by few cents at the other time that the updating time. In one way coming up with similar type of answer is easier than to think every time think new, that helps us to write faster and earn fast. Isn't it...
