Why do I exist in this world?

Life seems like a riddle,the answer to which is hard to be figured out.
Sometimes I find people do nothing meaningful but eat ea eat,just like an ordinary animal. I hate the feeling of being greedy on food;it's shameful.
What do all the people live in the world for?Everything seems vain and hypocritical.
What we live for?

I think everyone is different and that we have to look up the answer by ourselves. But in general, I think that the purpose we are here is to make this a better place to live. But then, we don't truly need to do something explicitly. All we need to do is to get a job, behaves ourselves, don't commit a crime. Things will then sort out on their own.
