Hard disc crash!

When my hard disk crashed I had to get a new one, because there was no way that disk would ever boot up again. What the guy in the shop recommended was to get a hard sick case and put the old disk in it, and then connect via the USB to my computer. I got the casing and it was very easy to put in the old disk just plugging in two cables. I then plugged one into the electricity supply and the other into the USB port and there were all the files I had saved to my old disk. All I had to do then was to drag and drop the files from my old to new disk.. All done. I still had to reinstall all my programs though, which took a lot of time - but hey, nothing was lost.
