What is the best give you ever received?

Somehow that question came up on television recently. So I turned to my husband and asked him what was the best gift he ever received. He said it had to be the car (the one I bought him last year out of my inheritance). I said, "What about your children?" He nodded and said, "Well, yeah." Then I said, "Or my heart?" He said, "You didn't give that to me, I took it." I laughed, got up and gave him a kiss. My husband isn't very good with words so that was a pretty good statement coming from him.
As for me, obviously my children are the best gift I ever received, but materially speaking, I would have to say my engagement and subsequently wedding rings. Any great things I got I purchased myself. But then the best gifts are not material things, but gifts of love and gifts from God.
But materially speaking, what is the best gift you ever received?

The best gift would be a laptop. Though it's not really a gift but it's something which was given to me for my school's usage. I used the laptop daily to do my usual stuff like chatting, homework and more. The laptop I'm using now is something which is like a part of me and I can't live without it. Thus I would say it's a best gift I've ever received

Well, that's alright. I'm sure your children is appreciative of the things you have done for them all this while
Cheers

Materially, the best gift I've ever received is a blanket my husband got me when he was deployed in the Army and went to Mexico. He bought it on his own, which makes it even more special...that he thought of me and wanted to get me something. I used it almost every night still, and it's been 16 years since he got it for me.

Materially speaking, well, must be my first bass, that's where all the fun begun Actually it was not completely a present since I had to pay $1 for it but it was a kind of a joke so I think I can count that as a gift.
