Accenture was formerly known as Anderson Consulting.

it's actually Andersen Consulting.

Anderson Consulting was renamed Accenture in 2001. Accenture's core business even to this day remains Consulting with which Accenture started as a company. Anderson Consulting is now a seperate entity altogether.
