We have all done it sometime, you know when you answer the phone and it is someone you just dont want to talk to even if it is a friend or a relation how do you get rid of them off the phone politly?I now say someone is at the door then knock on the letter box,as i find it very boring to chat to a person i just dont want to speak to.Even when you have said bye two or three times they still are talking do this get on your nerves and how do you get the to go?

If I happen to answer the phone and it is someone I don't feel like talking to at the time I just simply tell them that I'm busy, fixing to leave, whatever and that I will call them back later when I have time to talk.
However, this doesn't happen often with me as I have Caller I.D. and it is a great way to screen the calls you do or do not want to accept.

I jugs..that is why the invention of caller ID was a blessing.
You know who is calling and if it is impossible for you to be on the phone with the caller at that time you can just choose not to answer the phone.
I also have dial-up internet and my callwave provides me with the callers number, name and gives them the chance to leave a message. So if it is something that is relly important and serious of course I will give them a call right back. Otherwise I talk to people when I want and when I have the time to give them on the phone.
The may sound mean, I don't mean for it to, but there are just times I may not feel like bieing on the phone or may be doing a project that I don't want interupted in doing so I do call them back. I would rather ignore them sometimes rhen have to be rude and tell them I can't talk right now.
