Haha, ya i think i am the type of cool-headed person. Although sometimes i will also short tempered and get angry with someone else or when something not get into the way, but i wil try to keep myself cool down and of course won't attack people. Just have a deep breath and try to think over it again, you'll feel better and your mind can cool down. Solving the problem is the only correct way out, but not to go and hurt more people. That will only make matters worse. Cheers!

But if I hurt all of the bad people, won't they just go away?
You're right, sometimes the best reaction is to focus on something else and treat the anger like it doesn't matter.

Maybe that's my problem. I can't think of anyone who doesn't get angry.

I guess I have two tactics. One is to vent to my husband until I'm pretty much deflated, and the other is to find something else to occupy myself with so that I stop thinking about it for the time being. Reading a book I like is usually a good way to go.

I'm generally a cool-headed individual, but when I do get angry, I try to vent it out someway relatively nondestructive, such as writing or playing a videogame. I've also found physical activity to be a good way to blow off steam, so sometimes I'll go for a hard run or pump some iron in the gym.

Some experts think that playing videogames actually releases more of an angry impulse. I'm like you here. I disagree with the experts.
Although, maybe it is telling that God of War (if you've heard of it) made my little sister dream of ripping people's heads off just through her watching me play it.

My anger is not as strong a trait as in many people. But i believe that with practice and the right methods one can control anger outbursts. Anger is inevitable but there are ways to deal with it. simple things like meditation go a long way in helping to curb anger.i recently read an article on anger and would like to share it.
