i have watched a few recently where there were no survivors which seems like its rare since they always seem to have one stupid person live through everything (usually the one you DONT want to make it)and then use them for the sequel later.. this way it seemed more realistic.. of course the killers it doesnt matter.. even when they die in the end they come back if there is a sequel haha.. which do you like? a survivor in the end or everyone not making it?

It really depends on the movie & the characters. Some character I like & want to survive. Others ( like the ones from the Blair Witch ) I'd kill myself if given half the chance.

Your not kidding, I'd have shoved that camera down there throat. Come on... If your afraid someones stalking you don't hid in your tent where they can just stab you through the walls. BUILD SOME DEFENSES & MAKE WEAPONS! I'd have put dummies in the tent & trapped it. Oh wait, the producer DID put dummies in the tent!

I wouldn't be running at all. Lets see how dangerous they are hacked into little bitty pieces! That's why I had so much problem with Blair Witch. They tried to put you in the perspective of the victims. I DON'T DO VICTIM! Had me growling all night....

Lol it depends on who is surviving, if its a cute girl then it is cool otherwise it would be better if nobody is making it. Nice post.

iam from the sarah connor school of thought, and alice from resident evil. i like it when the tough smart ones make it through because it is as it should be, now i would not want to be stranded on the planet with a bunch of idiots then have to repopulate with them, humanity might not have a chance then

nothing makes me happier than a sad ending sadly. It kinda makes me go are you serious when the last one survives and you know right away who its gonna be with the acting. They give it away to fast. I like the twists where they dont survive makes it more believable that the hero or heroine doesn't always win

exactly! it is so irritating when there is only one good character in the group and you know that will be the one that lives in the end

It depends on the characters and how well the movie was. If it sucks, then kill them all. If it was decent, then save the main characters only. The Saw movies just keep going on and on. Yeah they had a lot of blood and gore in them, but what else. How can you make a sequel to a horror flick. Basically, it's just killing, forget the plot.

i think 90% of horror movies (if not a lot more) shouldnt have any kind of sequels

I would think there would be survivers in order to make a sequel...otherwise it would be totally an*l to even try to spark the fires again.

I like happy endings...and actually we don't watch horror movies all that much. We'll watch the corny ones like Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer, but for the most part we avoid scary movies. I'm not a huge fan of it, especially the ones that are weird or gory. But any movie that resembles a horror flick.. I'd rather the heroes make it out alive!

I like when they survive but when nobody survives it's like .. or th character that kills them it's so diabolical.... or the guys are so stupid...

I've seen some good in both, but I think in general people root for the good guy to make it out okay. It's a lot harder to give a good ending to a horror movie when the killer whens. I'd like to see a little more realism in the way they defeat the killer and survive though.

I like horror movies , whether they all die or not but all that matter on how the story twist and how it ends. i do love horror movies that are different from other that we mostly see.It seems that the directors are very good nowadays they love to make films that are extraordinary.
