So, I just wonder, the laws are create for everyone to follow, even the policemen have to follow it. But policemen are the people who checking other people whether or not they follow the laws. Traffic laws, it is a vivid example. More than several times, I saw police cars making illegal U - turn; or they taking advantage of using the blue - light siren to pass the red light. They are the one who give people the tickets. But when they violate the laws, who gonna give them the tickets?

In the UK the police are allowed to jump red lights and the speed limits if they are responding to an emergency, normally indicated by them having their siren and lights on. If there is no emergency though then they are subject to the same laws as everyone else, and if caught on camera then they will be issued with fines and points on licenses and even prison in extreme circumstances.
