Hello friends,how good is your memory?Are you good at remembering dates,telephone numbers,people's names,facts for exams,books or jokes you've read films you've seen?What techniques do you use to help remember things?

My memory is average I can remember the faces of the people with their names but remembering the house address is nil, so what I used to do, I keep some landmark and noted some permanent things may be some shop hoardings or house color if I need to know the particular house or I noted down in the diary things to remember or keep in phone as reminder specially for birthdays and occasions.

No, my memory is bad. I don't remember numbers easily and it usually takes me quite a lot of time so as to remember numbers.
I have heard that one way to help remembering things is through association. For instance, associate each number with a real life object:1 is a rocket. 2 is a duck. 3 is a ear, etc. Then, when you need to remember a cell number, you transform it into the real objects and come up with a story for that. Our brain is much better in remembering things that can connect together rather than a bunch of numbers
