what you see is what i really am in my profile.. i think some people do this for safety reasons... others do it for personal reasons like if they want to have many friends they would lie about their age, because they think if people will see them as old they will not have that much friends, few will accept them.

Guess mine! ... Well okay- no proper username, no perfect profile pic... mylot says my gender is 'unspecified'. I am a man, medical student from Kerala, India.. I hid my identity not for anyreasons, I forgot to mention at the signup. Later I couldn't change them too. In fact I have a good passport sized photograph in 'my photo' section. And ergarding the username, I tried to use the original, but it was used by someone else.. I had no other choice. Regards, Ajith.

I have my real age on here and i have no problem talking about it in discussions, i don't let everyone in on all there is to know about me, all at once but if a discussion evokes me to talk about my life then i do, i personally don't get why people would want to be fake on here

I have everything correct in my profile but there are many people who do not read what they see. It says 'location' so I put Italy because that is where I am located, where I live and where I am typing from - but does that mean I am Italian? I have no idea what my age is supposed to mean either. Do people my age stop having fun, stop being online or what? I do as I feel I should do regardless of whether it's what I should be doing at my age

I have given all my correct details here. I don't care about people knowing about my correct details, but I have made sure that I have not given anything in detail. I don't think there is a need to be too private and hide general things like age, country, real opinions etc.

Me? What you see, is what you get. I don't pretend to be someone I am not. I use my real photo.. my real nickname.. my real age.. my real location / country.

I hate lying, so I dont try to hide my age, country or gender in here, this is the internet.You can't be harmed in here, unless you did something stupid.

I think when I joined here that there is not much of a way to hide who you are when you register...I dont hide any thing and all my true friends here know who I am and things about me...I am 46,,female,, from the USA..Indiana

I'm a 29 year old female :) Nah, I don't have a problem with it at all. Not sure if anyone on here really knows me except for a few of my referrals, but I don't worry too much about it.

If you look at my profile.......what you see, is what you get. It states my real age, gender and location. I have no reason to hide it or lie about it. As for real opinions, if I give an opinion on something or a discussion here at the lot.....it's open and honest. I have no reason to not be.

I'm 20 and i never lied about my age, infact i'm proud to be 20. About real country and real opinions is just up to the user on giving their true identity and true facts. I'm from malaysia btw. Visited your page and saw many interesting discussion. Happy Mylotting.

I am considered a youngling at the age of 27. I am currently still attending college. I live in Ohio, U.S.A. I have no problem with people knowing where I live, how old I am, what I look like. I am a good person :D

I don't want to hide below info: real age, real country ... but i don't like to share the photo of myself...

I am 25 and i guess i never lied about my age online ever. all the forms and online accounts i have has my real birthdate. well, some people can express heavy thoughts when they write about it. I am sometimes, i cant express what i think but i can write pages about what i think.

What would be the sense to lie. I don't understand if you set up your profile it should be the truth, why bother joining if you are not going to be truthful with your personel stuff and your personel beliefs. Makes no sense at all!

I tell the truth on here just like any other website, i dont have anything to hide, and i like knowing who im talking to, also. So I tell the truth and expect others to too..although, its their choice!

I use my real data, but for two reasons. First of all, I know of people that put their ages at 12 or 13 so they don't get hassled by creeps, but unfortunately in this day and age you get hassled more for being a 12 year old girl then a 20 year old one. Secondly, if someone really wants to know about me all they have to do is ask, but instead of weathering a barrage of questions about my "stats" I just put them on my profile and anyone interested in it can just go and take a peek.

I like to be completely honest. I think everyone's opinion counts even if you don't agree. A little disagreement isn't a bad thing. We're all individuals. As far as my age and gender I've never been asked. I'd be honest though. I'm not giving out my address to a stalker or serial killer but hey I'll let you know my city and state.
