If your father has left you, would you still search for him?

no, i not search for him!! if he didnt like me, i do not like him too =p i say sorry for him, he missed a chance to have very wonderful child to hug him and make him proud.. happy mylotting!!

This didn't happen to me, but if you ask me if my father leaves me, I will say ' I will search for him'. Father is someone who is special and nobody can replace him. I might not keep a good contact with him if he has done bad to me and my mother, but still I will search for him - because nobody can replace him.

This is a matter for your heart, not other people's opinion. If he abandoned you and you are hurt about it, perhaps finding him, confronting him letting him know how you feel can bring some sense of closure to you. I've known people who have gone looking for a biological parent that abandoned them and walked away saying "thank God I have my step parent". Others have enjoyed a joyful reunion and a friendly relationship has grown between them.

It did not happen to me thank God but if it had I most definitely would look for him only because I would be curious and want to hear his side of the story. Maybe we could then have a relationship or if he's a real jerk then I can walk away and let it be. At least I met him and I could close the book on that part of my life.

I think it depends on the situation. If my parents devoiced, I think I will search him. If he thought he wouldn't afford me, I think I will forgive him. If he didn't like me, I think I won't search him. I didn't come across the situation, so I don't know when the situation happened to me, what's my really reflection?

Well i think i will do it.my dad hates me and my mom a lot but still we care for him.there is no heart to heart relation with him anymore because his wounds are deeper in our hearts but its like human we care for him still.So i think not as a very deep and close reltion but i will search him because he is my dad.

If my father left me without any reason I will not find him anymore.I will try my very best to live on my own and not expect his pity on me. If he is a responsible father he will not abandoned me but if he did it was a great fault. Its not easy situation to handle without any parent at all.
