We all use email, and some of us instigate mail, others only reply. Which are you. when I have frienbs who I haven't heard from for a while, I send them an email, and often get a reply immediately. Then it becomes my turn again. I often wish they would write first. Your thoughts myLotters.

Wow! That's too much for me, although when I take a vacation I take my laptop to keep up with my email. But on my cell, no thanks. Good luck hoghoney.

I would have to say that I am a responder and an instigator. My friends usually send me emails; jokes, fun stuff and the occasional inspirational one and I forward a lot of the more worthy ones to my family on the other side of the county. My friends and I don’t usually email each other to chat because we catch up quite regularly so if we forget to email it’s no biggie.

That's how it should be. Unfortunately two of my best friends are responders only, and only reply to my emails. They always apologize for this, but I believe it's just how they are, and don't expect a change.

Of course both. If I have any mail to send to my friend I send and If I receive a message I will reply. So doing both the jobs. It is two way.

Yes, it is a two way street, but do you think I'm being too criticial of my friends who never inistigate, and only respond?

I think when it comes to friends, I barely send them an email. Simply because I constantly communicate with them on social networking site.. facebook. But I do send emails from time to time not more for socializing or saying hi, but rather for business concerns and replies to inquiries that are business related.

I used to send and recieve a lot at work also, but for the last ten years, I have been teaching, so only social emails. I would like to get some, so I don't have to initiate the news all the time. It would be nice to get some news from my friends, so I can do the responding.
