You have to love that first open ice hit by orpik to hossa and then the crosby to zetterberg soon to follow. The pens need to pick up their passing game if they want to win this year. To me it seemed like they just did not have that energy that they did against the canes. I feel that this years cup is going to be very physical, hopefully nobody will get injured in the process. Did anyone see that story about the guys at the pittsburgh fish shops refusing to sell any squid/octopus to any detroit fans? LETS GO PENS!!!

Penguins have got to be disappointed with the end result in this one. They outplayed Detroit for most of the game but Osgood came through, especially in that second period and Marc-Andre got bit by two bad bounces. It was a great game, solid end to end pace. Like you said, great goals, great saves, great heart and determination, greak skill, and some BIG hits. This game had everything and the pace was incredible. I fully expect the Penguins to bounce back from this one and even the series tonight but regardless I KNOW it will be another spectacular game. After that first period I really got the sense I was going to enjoy this series, haha.
