I would say the 1990 Toyota car I use to have. It was very reliable and got lots of mpg because of its small size. It lasted a long time. I haven't had much of a choice of vehicles to drive over the years. I could only afford to by used cars. The Fords I've owned have been crappy and too bulky and messed up easier. Its good that Ford has decided to finally make the change to smaller more reliable cars. I have a 1995 Ford Explorer Van right and I've had my share of problems from it. I would like to get another Toyota in the future.

I have had poor eyesight since birth, so I guess I would have to say that the best vehicle I've ever had was the bus that still pulls up just outside of my apartment door every 20 minutes, every half hour on weekends. I live right in the middle of everything, so I really don't need to own my own vehicle. However, when I win the lottery, I do plan on buying a limo, and hiring a friend of mine to drive it.

The car I loved the most was a 58 VW Bug that I inherited from my Mom. I loved that car and kept it until my children grew to big to sit in the back seat. It was only one year old when I got it. I got another one later when the kids were grown but it just wasn't the same.

the best car's I have ever had was an old porsche 911 928s absolutely stunning vintage porsche.
I still have it and still runs like a dream, tho my best car is my new up to date 911 few years old and a real head turner.
Tho I did have a G reg japaneese import toyota supra 3-0 twin turbo, but the back end was awful too much power for the car to handle the back end used to slide out with a slight touch of the accelerator.

To date, I have only owned Hondas. They have all been fabulous vehicles (which is why I will continue to buy Hondas). However, one car stands above the rest. My 1999 CR-V, which was just traded in about 3 months ago for a 2009 Pilot, is my favorite vehicle to date.
1999 was the best year for CR-Vs, first off. It was black, was 5-speed transmission (I like my manual transmissions!), and his name was SAM. SAM went everywhere with me. As a wildlife biologist finishing undergrad, SAM drove me from Texas, where I graduated, to Arkansas, then Oregon, then Texas again, then Georgia, then Florida, then Texas again, then to Louisiana for grad school, then to Atlanta, Georgia where I am today.
I used SAM as a field vehicle. He had been driven through creeks, across shallow wetlands, through pastures, and into the woods. He had been stuck more times than I could count! But he always came through for me and always kept on running.
When I traded him in, I had been driving him for a decade, and he had over 151,000 miles on him. I still miss him a little, but my new Pilot is very nice. Me and the hubby are gearing up for kids, so we needed a newer, slightly larger car to cart them around in. I wanted to keep SAM and just use him as a dog car, but we ended up trading him because we didn't want to insure three cars. Bye SAM. I miss you!

Well, I have 2 answers to this one. First one would be a 2010 Toyota Prius, because of its small size, a lot of MPG (around 50 combined), and a moon roof with a solar panel to power the A/C when the car isn't running.
Second answer would have to be a 2007 Hummer H3. It has AWESOME off-road capability, and the MPG are around 20 combined, about the same as a small pickup truck! It definitely has a lot of acceleration built into that 5 cylinder engine!

We have a 1990 Vauxhall Nova. Its brilliant. We got an LPG conversion about 2 years ago and its so cheap to run. Its all mechanical apart from the lighting circuit and a few of the inner controls, so there's not much to go wrong with it and as we've had the car for about 4 years now, we know what's been done to it, and what could potentially go wrong. Its no oil painting, but its reliable and it gets us from A to B.

I've had many cars - but the best ever was a funky 1996 infiniti G-20 that I owned in 1999, bought from original owner. it was fully loaded, sunroof, leather seats, the whole 9 yards, it was extremely sporty and fun to drive, and it was. at the time, a real head turner. but the most important thing - it was a reliable car, easy and low cost maintenance car. and I guess that the fact that it was the very first car I chose to buy because I liked it and not because of financial restrictions, had a lot to do with it as well... I really enjoyed it and when I sold it I did it with a heavy heart, but I was afraid that she was about to start giving up on me.
I would buy a nissan car anyday - even though they merged with Renault...

My favorite car I have owned was a 1998 honda civic. It was fast, good on gas, and I had it customized to look good. It was lowered had a custom exhaust, a custom paint job and wheels. I loved that car.

I have only had two cars in my life and my favorite was my first, a 2007 Honda Civic. It had a navigation system and had great mileage. Sadly I crashed it really badly one night when it was raining. so sad LOL. Now I have a 2002 Honda Accord....i miss my first car...but the damn insurance did not cover it all so I could not afford to get another one =(

My little 2008 Hyundai Accent. I live in the city and it's easy to park, dart in and out of traffic, and reasonably comfortable. It's also cheap on gas, and because the alarm system is built in, would you believe, my insurance rate dropped a few dollars? My previous car was also an Accent, and my satisfaction with it was the reason I decided again to go to the same dealer, and get the same car (the lease on that one was up). Extra nice...Hyundai's pricing policy had changed, and my monthly amount, for a brand-new vehicle, ended up being $8.00 less per month than I was paying before. Even though I really loved my first Accent, this one is better in winter because the wheels are just a bit bigger. It's small, but I don't need a big vehicle, and it fits my needs perfectly.

I would have to say that it was a Ford Ranger that I used to lease. I got it brand new and took it back to get a car for the family when the lease was up. I miss that truck so bad and wish I still had. It looked very nice and rode really well. It was good for all kinds of weather too. I miss it alot.

The best vehicle I've had would probably have to be one of my current ones. Ironically it's a Toyota. A '91 pickup. I've only had it for the past 3 and a half years, but this thing just keeps running and running! And here it almost has 300,000 miles on the odometer! Of course, it probably help that the previous owner, who also happened to be the original owner, took excellent care of it and always had it maintained at the dealer.
And just as ironically the Fords I've had (and currently have) were pretty much crap. I never bought them, or any other car for that matter new, but they sure didn't last as long as the Toyota I have. The Ford I have now my husband and I bought back in 2007. It ran great for about 6 months and then one day out of the blue it ran like sh*t. And here it's newer with a lot less miles than our pick up. We paid a good amount for it too. Now it just sits in our driveway. Talk about depressing.
Yep, next time I'm going with a Toyota, or at least avoiding Ford.

I had a 1963 Citroen (French Cadillac). It had no springs or shocks, just hydraulic suspension. That was the best and most dependable car I've ever had. I could get close to 100,000 miles on a set of Michelins and it got 40 mpg back in the '60s.
