Have you ever...Missed someone so much, because they died..and you just can't let them go? The relationship was just so strong that 8 yrs later they are still in your thoughts and soul Everyday? You Thank them for small favors when things becoume stressed or unbearable? You miss them so much..you remember the talks..and reminisce & laugh - till you cry -then cry because you realize they are not mortally here anymore!? The person that was there for you ..all your life.? The person who fixed your car...then co signed on a new car when yours was unfixable? The one who always took up for you when you thought all was lost? The one that held you - told you you would be fine - (as a teen) when you thought the world came to an end? The one You were always there for as well? When he needed a wrench to fix your appliance, or even his car..or just listen to "his problems" which never seened THAT bad? The one who always tried to give you the "right" advice when you "knew" he was wrong? The one who taught you bird calls as a child..sitting outside on a warm summer afternoon?The one who let you stay up late at night to watch the baseball or hockey game you were "so interested" in (age 7) just to scoop you up & put you to bed when you fell out on the floor? The one who always stopped at white castle to spend the dollar Gramma gave you after visiting her? The one who told you All about the big band sounds of Tommy Dorset?...And you actually liked it and listened to it with him? The one who picked you up from the ER when you were sick (as an adult) when you had numerous allergic ear infections...then take you to Sonic..Sit and talk and eat ice cream sundaes at 3 am?? Just to make you feel better? The one who literally moved from chicago to Fla..just because they missed you? The one whos hands were always callused yet gentle? The one's who's "Belt" you feared as a child..yet never hit with? the one who supported your views on life..you ways..your beliefs..because that is what made you, YOU? (you heard the beat to a different drum) The one you have Soooooo many memories of..you could never possibly list them all here?????? The person..The Man..who loved you UNCONDITIONALLY!!! .. who was Always There?? IN REMEMBRANCE OF MY DADDY!! Robert Lee Harn 01/29/1929 - 06/14/2002 I MISS YOU DADDY!!
