Does anyone else have trouble with clingfilm?

I just tried to wrap some pizza in clingfilm, and as usual for me, it was a struggle. I can usually manage to pull the clingfilm out, but then when I try to tear it on the serrated edge of the box it all goes wrong. The box collapses then the film sticks to itself, and by the time I've actually torn a piece off it's the wrong size! What makes it worse is that my partner has no problem! Is it just me or have you had clingfilm problems?
