Some people used facebook, or myspace as their romantic encounter with special someone out there. I don't know why, can it be trustable? Probably it is a free social network site, and you don't have to pay for it. I just don't see the point to meet someone on myspace, unless you knew them pretty well. There were lots of predators on those social network sites. Don't you think so?

I think it is possible for you to meet someone and fall in love with online and even on myspace. I know someone who dated a guy she met on myspace for ten months before they ended the relaitonship because they wanted two different things.

I don't know, because it's a social networking website.I remember some time ago when a person got raped her simply because he got to know this certain guy in friendster. i think they got to chat there and got to know each other, but little did she knew the guy was a pervert and raped her. he got arrested though. for me, i think it's not possible because a lot of people can deceive you in the Net. Don't even risk it, waste of time.

I think you can. You never know what can happen. Some of these other sites don't really give you the chance to find out what you want to know about a person. If you do want more about that person, you would have to pay for it. I know from personal experience getting the most out of something that is free is something that everyone is looking for now. Using facebook and myspace to find a date is one way to watch your and find that someone at the same time.

It's not something I'd do myself, but I can see it working out.
If people use eharmony and craigslist to find other people worth dating, then I can accept myspace or facebook as well.
I think to avoid the predators, you just have to follow the basic guidelines of meeting in public, letting people know where you're going, and trusting your judgement.

in this day in age anything is possible. well if people can meet their mach on dating site then why not myspace. personally when it comes to meeting people from online i'm very hesitent of doing it. i know that some of my friends have meet their boy friends from myspance and they seem very happy. to me myspace is a big site that can be used for many different think including dating. the only thing that i say is be very careful when it comes to meeting people form myspace, because of the fact its free anyone can use it and they can easy lie just to get what they want.

Well, I am with someone that i had met off of myspace. We have been together for 2 1/2 years now. But I wasn't on the to meet guys, I was registered to see what all the hype was about.
I then found myself venting to a friend, then over the phone. When we finally met he never went back home. And til this day we still can't be away from each other for too long. Lol.
What is so weird is that wasn't looking for anyone either. But yes it is possible. And yes you have to use extreme precaution, since there seems to be a lot of wackos online.

Funny story- I actually was introduced to a guy on myspace last year around this time. We hit it off AMAZINGLY, and it worked out very well for us! We actually were married in Sept of 08, and are expecting our first baby in August :)...Sometimes you really can find a lifelong partner on these social networks. I dont suggest going to look for love online but hey, if it happens and it works for you, then by all means congrats. It worked for my husband and I, we have been going strong since day one!
Yay Us... :)
and Go online Love :)
