This is what the big 0 ran for office for. He got what he wanted. Now we will be paying for it with our lives as China eventually takes over our country. I really don't know why they want us. Our kids are uneducated. We have used up most of our resouces. A big chunk of our people want to live on hand outs. And now we are getting ready to open our borders to Cuba. They will just send their criminals again like they did the last time. The Arab world wants to kill us. So why would anyone want our country? Shalom~Adoniah

First off, why don;t you give links to your information? I have never seen anywhere that it cost that much money anhttp://www.mylot.com/nr/newresponse.aspx?p=1&qid=2025586d perhaps you could have made more effort that a 2 sentence topic..... and second of all lots of past presidents have gone on trips that have cost taxpayer money...third of all, since i doubt it cost that much because othewise you would have had a source, this is an example of the way married couples should be, this man has the most stressful job of the nation but he still takes his wife out to a romantic date, maybe if other men remembered to do the same on a regular basis, the divorce rate wouldn't be so high

Yes i have seen different stories on it, but i have never seen a $100,000 price tag ever attached to any of it in any of the stories

Spicy, I haven't reached the 500th post yet, so I can't link. You can find this story online in several places, notably Drudge. I don't recall Bush or any of the other presidents having 'date' night with their spouses, but maybe that's because their marriages were rock solid. These 'dates' are for propaganda purposes, anyway. Everything the Obamas do is staged. Why do they have to announce it? It's like a rude person announcing that they have to go have a bowel movement. Too much information, lol.

Ligthten up. He's the president of the United States and he gets special treatment. Why on earth shouldn't the most powerful man on the planet have the right to take his wife to a Broadway show in a paid for jet. My brother's boss sent a company jet to fly him and his wife to New York for a Broadway show and he's only a senior VP.

This is unbelievable. I see no sense in the President taking his wife on a date. I mean who is he to continue his loving relationship just because he is President. If you haven't caught on, I will spell it out for you.. That was sarcasm. No, I don't agree with the President taking Air Force One, Marine One or any other official means of transportation to take his wife for a date, but I also know there is no other way to do it securely. He is a human, a husband and a father. We have to believe there is some level of tolerance in being President. I know this uproar didn't happen when President Bush took his First Lady out. Let it go people. Lets concentrate on what really matters.

I am concentrating on what's important. This country's economy is in dire straits. The president told us to tighten our belts. And what does he do? He's not setting a very good example by crapping our taxpayers money all over the place. As far as I'm concerned, they can have 'date' night at the White House.

Like, Obama just happens to have a 100,000 dollar American Express card to pay for it..PLEASE. Everywhere this man goes he has to have security, cops to keep the grubby masses away, to detour traffic so his limo can get through...All I have to say is Michelle must be high maintenance, and must be hard to please. Onlookers said she almost fell on her face when she got back, lol. Guess all those martinis went to her head.

I've had it up to and over my ears with seeing Obama and/or Michelle on TV. It's so sickening the way the media reports his every little move. I wonder if we taxpayers paid for the burgers he bought. It's a fair question.

It's only been a few months and it seems the thing Obama is best at is spending taxpayers money.
