Hello everybody! It's nice to be back here in myLot by the way. It's been tough this past month. I was quite engaged in reading the Stephenie Meyer's books and then I had problems with my Internet Service. By the way, for all those twilight fans out there like me, I'm hoping if you guys can sign a petition for Stephenie Meyer to publish Midnight Sun, here's the link: http://www.savemidnightsun.com/petition.aspx. If you haven't read the 1st 12 chapters of the book, Stephenie Meyer has it available on her website. Here's the link: http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/midnightsun.html

Her books were a lot of fun. I even got my husband to read them, though he insisted it was drivel. I'd tell him "addicting drivel." I guess I was right, because he was always out buying the next book the day it was released. I hope your petition works, but I think Stephanie is working on her other novels so much that she wont have time to get back to this project.

My husband read all the books too! The books can actually make a reader, sad, smile, laugh or angry. Stephenie said on one of her interviews that she will still continue midnight sun but it will be 2 years after she started it. Hopefully the book will continue next year *crosses fingers*. She did mention though that she might release a book about Renesmee and Jacob.

Hmm you sound like you haven't finished reading the 4th book yet... I won't give any spoilers lol...

wow that would be good... I hope Renesmee stops aging at some point. It would be a very sad story if she kept aging so quickly... she'll be an old lady soon.

What kind of books do you usually read? Just curious...I used to read detective stories while I was in High School and now I just started reading about fictional books. I will probably soon read Stephenie Meyer's "The Host."

Oh you're reading New Moon? The 2nd is book is kinda depressing but anyway it has a good ending I won't say any spoilers hehehe....After you're done with the 4th book I suggest that you read the Midnight Sun. It explains everything about Edward.

Yeah I am reading New Moon.I am at the part where Bella finds out about Jacob being a Werewolf. I agree the first part of this book is depressing. I have the 3rd book ordered and coming in since I am close to the end of New Moon.

I heard someone say it had been leaked to the press, and that is why she didn't publish it, and instead has it on her website.

Yes it got leaked. She did say that she distributed it to a few people. A few of which were the staff of the movie twilight to make the movie itself much better. She decided to put it on her website because she wants her readers to be honest.

Just signed the petition... and i hope Stephenie Meyer will see this and finally decide to finish Midnight Sun... i must admit that i like it more than Twilight since i find the vampire world more interesting... and the back stories are really a good addition... like how Angela and Ben got together... and how irritating Rosalie can really be...

You got that right! Even Stephenie Meyer said that if she had known that it's more exciting to read it in his perspective she would have started the books like that. According to an interview though, she just wanted her readers to know who Edward Cullen is. I was actually hoping that she will continue to write in his perspective till the 4th book...lol

I will definately be signing this! I've read the first few chapters of Midnight Sun at least 3 times and I adore all of the other books she's written. I understand her reasons for perhaps not wanting to continue the book but I would also love to show support for her continuing writing it! I shall go sign it now!
