The Lakers defeated the Nuggets and the Magic defeated the Cavs. Two great teams come together to play for the championship. You got Alston on Fisher, Lee on Bryant, Turkoglu on Ariza, Lewis on Gasol, and Howard on Bynum. If Orlando cant stop Kobe then their in trouble. Orlando has never won a championship which means they have no experience in this kind of situation. their going up against a franchise that has 14 championships and a team that is returning to the finals for 2 consecutive seasons. Although the magic defeated the Lakers twice in the regular season, the finals is a different environment. So in my opinion, the Lakers will not lose a game at home which will make them the champions.

Too bad Cavs didn't make it. It could have been Lebron vs Kobe finals. Still i would root for Orlando. They're a young team but very determined. Maybe it's their time now. Not to underestimate Kone and the Laker's They have bounced back this time and i think they're equally determined as the Magics. The Magics may be young but they're not easy to to beat. I curious though as to how well they will fare against the Lakers who had a supreme regular season.

Lebron vs. Kobe would have been really fun to watch. I was really disappointed when the Cavs lost. I think the Lakers will beat the Magic 4 games to 1. Kobe is too good and he wont let another championship get away from him.

I go for Orlando Magic, the hungry team will bite every inch of opportunity. Lakers is ended a strong team, but being strong is not the only key to win a game. Basketball is a team game, so I guess with Magic's camaraderie they can surpass from 2-1 lead.

Actually i feel Lakers will win the final champions but frankly i don't like Bryant . i think he is a little insidious ,he is not a good leader.
in my heart MJ is the best basketball player. nobody will replace him
so i hope Magic to win the final champions
i can't wait to watch the game
it must be a great game

Who cares if Orlando wins every game of the regular season that dont mean nothing nobody even plays hard until the playoffs start. The Lakers are on a mission and will not be stopped by no one. L.A. has the better coach , and the better roster from top to bottom over Orlando. This will be the toughest team Orlando has played in the playoffs and it will definitely show as Lakers win this series in no more than five games.

Yes my friend i will agree 100% that the lakers will bring home the trophy this year. They were embarassed last year and they will not let the same happen again vs. a lesser team. Im predicting lakers in 5.

Lakers should win in 5!!! I think the Magic (by adding Jameer Nelson into possibly playing) will distract teammates and the two games in L.A will slip away big time. The Lakers will take all of the heart and spirit from the Magic until they return home to only win one of the three consecutive home games. These are my predictions but then again if the NBA wants to bank on this then it would go seven games....I certaintly hope not....

I truthfully do hope that the lakers lose just because i live in denver and am a nuggets fan. But the issue is that Kobe is just too damn good. The whole team is so there's no way around it they are definately going to take the championship and am pretty willing to put money on it.

Hi there! I'll go for Orlando. Know one can stop the Superman in Low post. Bynum and Gasol are too slow for him. If they can stop Kobe, then they will grab the championship without sweat:) Lewis, Turkoglu and Howard are unstopabble trio. Outside shooting will kill the Lakers. I think it will not matter if how many times you appear in the Finals. The big Factor is Coach Gundy will handle the team against veteran Jackson! Go Orlando! Show your Magic. lol

I donot agree with the host"s idea.I support Magic.Although the Lakes have o lot of honour and some super basketball men just like Beyant. They can play well sometimes but the other time not.Lakes could not called a mature and stable team.In my view,KObe and his teammate are play together.By contrast there is not a superstar, and they are a civilian team. They trust each other in the court and outsiade also. And there is a great coach who can adapt to the changes. So I think Magic will laugh last

Hey everyone, I'm Michael and I am originally from Los Angeles. :)
Talent is great, but HUNGER IS UNPREDICTABLE. Look what happen last year with the Celtics! If you have a group of dedicated players who are sold on each other and are on the same page then you have an unpredictable EDGE!
The Magic may be hungry but the Lakers may want it more because they were there last year and FAILED! Another failure would be devastating in my opinion.
I think the Lakers will outplay the Magic because they have experience, determination, and KOBE BRYANT!
This is Kobe's time to shine with his Lakers team. And this year's group of Lakers have an advantage over last year's Lakers team.
Talent and Hungry maybe be important but we also have to take INJURIES into consideration. Anything can happen!
Lakers have multiple players that are injured. Odom, Ariza, Gosal, are all hurt and will play through the pain but they won't be 100%.
If Kobe or Dwight goes down with an injury it will change the game for both teams.
my pick is LAKERS for the Win!
Michael

nba finals is always an exciting series. the battle between the east and the west. the best from both conferences meeting for the title always promises to be a classic match-up. the lakers feel that they have an unfinished business. the pressure is on them because people see them as this year's nba champion. the magic is playing without pressure. they are having fun in the court. and that makes them a dangerous opponent. i'll go for the lakers on this one. i think kobe still the pivotal and key to this series.

Hey there! I'm a huge Orlando fan! I was really happy when they beat the Cavs. I'm really worried now though because they are facing a really good team. The Lakers are a great team with a great balanced lineup and good backup squad. The Magic are also quite balanced and also have a good backup squad. The only problem is, the Magic lack the experience that the Lakers have. They proved themselves against the Celtics and against the Cavs and hopefully, they can against the Lakers.

Since this series is 2-3-2 if Orlando can win 1 of the first two games in La I like their chances. Then they have 3 in Orlando, hopefully the go 2-1. That's Orlando ahead 3-2 with two games in LA and if they win Game 1 or 2 they will have confidence that they can do it again. I don't think that will happen even though I want Orlando to win I think LA wins in 6. Another factor in this series is if Nelson ends up coming back for the Magic, if this happens it should help them out and push it to 7 games and anything can happen in a Game 7.

I think the experience of the Lakers will show up. But I do think that if the Magic show some poise in the tough times, they could win it. I like all the match ups for both teams. The Magic need to hit 3's in order to have a chance and the Lakers just Kobe. If the Lakers smell defeat they will pounce and make them pay.
