Communication and Transportation advantages have shrunken this world into a 'Global Village'. A village is necessarily a small place where you could get out of your home to see your neighbour out reading a newspaper. Or you could see a gang of kids running around and playing...and more and more blah blah.
After getting into this mylot, I felt that this is more than just a village. I feel this is some sort of a home. A home where all the members of various nations sit around a table sipping a hot cup of coffee, discussing things and commenting on everyones opinions...
Feels good.
How about you? Are you here just for the sake of getting a few extra cents or do you really enjoy it?
Share and Enjoy!

I am on Mylot for over 2.5 years....and I am still here...means it can be addictive.
As far as my earning cents, like I mentioned few times, it helps me with my charity work. Money I gain online are going for animal charity of my choice. It seems like not much, but it helps to safe many lives....
I enjoy talking to people from all over the world and yeas, it is "Global Village"..
HUGS

Charity is a good sign. I have never heard of people like you who work hard to maintain these creatures, Keep it up. You definitely deserve praise and I extend mine!
And talking with a lot of people around the world is enjoyable and at the same time, informative too. Hope you have a good time here.

Hi!!
Some of the discussions over here are very informative. I really enjoy my time in Mylot not only because of the reason I could make some extra bucks by posting or commenting but also I find some discussions that are very interesting and then in that case I really find it hard to resist my self from not responding to such discussions. Some are entertaining too because of the topic and also because of the way it is described in the discussion. There are many interesting topics that are based on life, mylot, people, general questions and science and technology.I like the way people share their views and opinions. It is just becoming somewhat like a society. It also helps us in our English proficiency as well as possibly increasing our typing skills as we post them.We could developed our English skills by reading others posts as well as the writing skills.. When it comes to specific job descriptions and inquiry, there are those who inquire about some things that is work related for them.
I agree with you in this regard.

And yes, above all: Have fun!

Ajith.

Hi there ebook_freak, your favorite nurse here again...When I first joined mylot it was for the money, but then, when I noticed that I could use and maintain the english I found mylot the best place to be in. Lots of friends, like you, and share opinions, values and other issues you might have...sometimes even get some help.
Mylot have also helped me reduce my smoking habbits, since once you logged in, you are here for a long time...writing as I am just now...open my mail after a long days work and just use my mind and write whats in itIt take a while to go through and respond to all the discussions started during the day. So some nights when I go to bed for sweet dreams I find my self not been out for a smoke on the hole day or evening.
So you se, Mylot for me is not only making money, it is having some relaxing time with lots of different people around the world

No worries, Sorry to hear that you had chickenpox. That was a test I guess, that itches and are anoying I can imagine. I can not rember that myself, but I do remember when My kids had it. And how they looked. Lots of pox on the body, and not be able to toch and scratch the pox when they itches to much. I used water and pouder on them. It helped a bit.

Hi Anetteh,
Sorry for the late response, got bedridden due to chicken pox.
And yes, I myself have witnessed you having fun around here. And every time you come up with new experiences and opinions that is worth learning. Mylot is not only for money, but also mainly for socializing. You are among the many who actually feel like that. Even I feel it relaxing talking to my favorite nurse from Sweden!
Happy mylotting!

Yeah... pox is quite irritating. Forget about the stings and stinks- I will never forget the spine breaking effect! I couldn't even lie down on my bed properly. Gosh! Hard time. Now I'm recovering...
And mylot is a home, people like you are always ready to help! Thanks.

Could well be a home for us but a home where we can even play Snow ball games and talk about virtually everything from having a cup of tea to finding love to getting confused of choosing fruits or many many things.
Well, the populations demands it to be a huge house. How many doors and windows are there in this house? i can see one!

Well, you must really love it here! Snowball games and finding love...I have never had any experiences like that, but I can't say that is not possible either. Everything seems great here. And mylot also creates a better personality and language too- especially good English for people who are not fluent in it..

Not to mention if there is happyness then there is some sad moments also.
There were times when I had tears in my eyes and had a great misunderstanding with a friend here which resulted in a breakup. Not with one but two of them because both of them were friends!

Ah... broken hearts. They are here at mylot too? ok, Mylot is reality, but I thought better than it. Anyway if the problem is between opposite genders, it doesn't last long- you know the reason. And more over, a little bit of mess up is a part of childish character...

I also feel the same way. Its fun being here. Its surely like a global home where you are siting in front of a computer and discussing things with other members of the family. As in case other experience members guide us in any problem in the same way here when we have any problem we can start a discussion and ask for help and other members gladly help. This breaks the boundary of nation and bring the hole world to gather.
