As a college student, do you still keep taking notes?

As for me, i seldom take notes in classes when i went to college. Perhaps i become
a little lazy because college teachers are not so strict as middle school ones.
Usually, I just listen to the teacher carefully.
What about you?

I always take notes in class whether it was in school or college because I find it easy to revise at home then.
When I was doing literature, my note books were full with explanations and I even wrote in books which I know many people don't like it but we were doing it in class and for me it was very normal to take notes so that we can look at it when we revise at home.
Even now in class I take up notes and everyone do it because firstly the teacher gives little explanation so when he talks we just jot down the main points to search in the library and secondly we are use to take up notes now.

Hello there happyforever! Good day to you. I am in college and I usually take notes if I have time but most of the time I listen first to the discussion of our professor and after class, I'll have a xerox copy of my friend's notes. I think taking notes help you remember important terms because while writing it, it helps you study it alos. Also I think highlighting certain concepts in books helps also like writing notes. But I don't see the point taking notes that are already stated in the book and in my opinion, listening to the teacher and understanding the topics carefully is better than writing notes when you do not understand what you are writing. :)

Yes, I do take notes in my classes. I do listen to what my professors have to say, but I also write down what I think is important for me to remember. I really do think that it would be difficult for me, if I didn't take notes in class and I just listened to what the professor is saying.

Yep. I don't know where I'd be if I didn't have any notes. Yep. Listening is good, but you know, your memory will always fail you. So, might as well take notes. ;)

As for me,I always take notes in my class.Because in my college,we students can not find what the teachers have taught in our books. If we want to get high marks in the examation,we must keep taking notes all the time. And I also think taking notes in the class can help you maintain your attention to the teachers' saying and you can revise the notes after class.

Since I'm always in front of the classroom, I always take down important notes when the teacher is discussing. It helps me understand the subject more and helps me recall the whole sense of the class lecture. Besides some of my professors usually commands us to take down notes because at the end of the semester our grades will also based on our notes :)
