19 year old mother sold her child for $60...

It is so surprised that i cannot believe it. although i have no a baby,i thought the life is the best thing in the world! i really cannot understand the reason of why! what i can do is just give my best wishes to the one month old baby!

Me too cannot imagine selling my own child to a stranger. some people do it as a business of giving birth to children and selling them to gain a huge sum of money. Recently my friend adopted a child by giving a small sum of money to the mother. This mother of 16 yrs old was compelled to sell her child because she was a school girl and she was poor. She was unable to bring up the child on her own as the child's father betrayed her. In this case i will not blame the child's mother for selling the child

Yup, it's sometimes amazing what one human being can do to another. I don't know why this young woman sold her child - starving, poor or what other reasons! I wonder which is worse - selling a child, or abusing the kid! Look at what some mothers can do to their own children - beating, battering...horrible!

Yes due the finicial problem the parents are selling they kids by thinking that they can give another child birth, but slowely now a days relationship value is coming down nobody is giving the value to relationship, emotion & love. first we to make people understand that how important it is

That's terrible!! Makes me wonder where are we living? Are we sane enough to be called as HUMANS?? We are worse than animals. Even an animal tries to protect and nourish it's baby for sometime. Why don't such parents think about the child...what is that man going to do with this kid...sell him/her for a few more bucks? Treat him/her as their slave? rape and abuse him/her when they grow up! God! Why people do that! How can they do this to their own CHILD!

wow. It really shows what humans today will do for money. 9 months of eating for two and she sells it for $60 bucks! You would think her maternal instincts would want to protect the baby not sell it to a bus driver. That kids going to now the roads in and out by the time he/she is 8. That lady has no morales, She should be spayed and forced to never have children again. But hey thats just my opinion.

I think that woman is not yet married. Maybe she is single mother of an unwanted pregnancy and she can't sustain for the baby's needs. I know what she is doing is definitely wrong but I still congratulate her for carrying the baby for 9 months and did not abort it, for giving the baby to other people rather than leave it somewhere with no one to look for the baby.

I cannot comprehend how does 9 month of suffering can compare to $60, I do not know how it work. However it could be that the mother understand she could not provide for her child and would "sell" the child to some one that is more able to do so.

How horrible and inhumane the mother's action was! She needs to feel guilty for what she did and I hope it haunts her for the rest of her life. She should never ever sell her own child, even if she needs money. If she needed money, she should have found other ways to raise cash. She could have taken a job or if she already has a job, she could apply for another part-time job. She could have sold some of her things too but not her own flesh and blood. I agree with you that if she did not want the child, she could have given it up for adoption.

I am sorry but that is completely disgusting. People that do that have no business even having a child. A child is not some form of product, they are living beings. People frown down on the slavery days but it's alright for a mother to sell their child? Sick

WOW! I guess she was that desperate. I would never sell my own child even if I didn't want it or could support it. Adoption would be the first place I would go. How about that guy who bought it. Did he think that this was a deal? I have been looking for a child to buy. Imagine if he put that into the classifieds.

People do just horrible things now in this world. Selling a child online in any way is just wrong, and I agree if a parent can not or does not want to take care of the child then they should give the child up or tell someone who can help them get the proper authorities to give up rights to the child. Selling A Child ISN'T like selling a house, in fact it's MUCH WORSE!

How can a human be so cheap? Maybe 3000 pesos is a huge amount but still, it's cheap. She carried the baby for 9 months just to sold the child for some money. Maybe she's living a hard live but still that's not a reason to do something like that. Once you brought a life to this world you have to responsible for him/her.

That is absolutely sickening. That woman shouldn't be allowed a child. I couldn't even imagine leaving my child in a person I don't know or trusts care for even a short period of time. I really don't understand how someone could do that. the things that could have happened to that baby. I really hope she's put away for a long time.

Wow is all I can say to that. I've heard a lot of stories about mothers who don't want ther children, but never ever heard that mother could sell her baby for $60. That's not right.
