OFF Loading from Plane

Last night, i was planning to go to another city for meeting, our flight time was 10pm and it was 1:45 hrs long flight. We reached at air port by 9:25 pm, rush to get the boarding as we were not having any luggage other than hand baggage.
We were in plane by 9:45(it was 777 plane). after that suddenly it was storm and rain, and the flight get delayed as it was lot of lighting too,
However by 11 they taxi and went to Runway, but they did not get clearnce and informed that on route there are still 2 major storms and they come back to ramp, then they said it will take one hour more, and start serving snacks. well at 12 night, they were still not clear. So we decided and agreed that we are not going on this flight and request them to OFFLOAD us, so at 12:30 we were out of Plane, and its status was still un clear
We hired cab and went to home.
Does this ever happened to u?

It is really sad to know that sudden strom and bad and inclement weather undid your plans to fly. It has not ever happened with me. Hopefully, the weather would have improve or will improve so that you could fly to your destination. All the best.

Hi Cupid, That must have been so frustrating for you but safer not to fly if so stormy. It has never happened to me, in fact I have been very lucky in that I have never had a delay and one flight arrived a lot earlier than expected because of the wind direction but then I am not a frquent flyer either. Huggles. Ellie :D

I thank God that this happened to you and never happened to me as the Air France disaster is still green in our mind.Very pathetic to perish like flies and it is so cruel that are unable to recover the bodies of the passengers who have been interned into this horrific watery grave with God know what dreams in their minds.Real sad.

My goodness Zass there are so many grammar mistakes in your narration.....You have mixed up the past tense and present tense every where....And do you know why your English is deteriorating???? Well its because you do not mylot much, and since there is nobody to watch your mistakes and correct them (as in the past),you have become careless.......tut..tut...this is too bad cupie.........I am so disappointed in you......And dont you ever dare to call me ustanijee in future,since its so embarassing......

Well its frustrating when your flight does not keep its scheduled time table,but we cannot blame the airlines if the weather plays spoil sport...I too have had my flights delayed once or twice while going on my holidays...Once we had to catch an early morning flight from Mumbai and had to reach the airport at 4 am.....We boarded the flight,then it developed a techincal snag,and we were served breakfast before take off.Then they announced that the flight was cancelled after about 2 hours,made us disembark,gave us free breakfast again at the airport,and my 11 am we were checked into a substitute flight,and they again served us breakfast...it was really frustrating and I think they were always serving food so that the passengers will not grumble if they stuff their mouth with food all the time......

but atleast u flew and with three breakfasts, wow. i wonder if u had breakfast b4 leaving home for air port.

Heyya cupid! I hated it when I was delayed on a flight. I was held over in Califonia for over two hours because of engine trouble...which scared me and made me not want to fly...then when I got to Michigan..my connecting flight home had already left. I was stuck there overnight because there wasn't another flight until morning. The airline put me up in a room and give me meal tickets for dinner and breakfast but I was still mad about it..lol..I was supposed to be at work the next morning.
