Metallica Bashers/ Posers

Doesn't it seriously tick you off when people start bashing Metallica? They had ONE album that didn't go over well, and now suddenly everyone's saying they suck. I wish those tools woul shut their yaps for 5 minutes and take the time to look at their track record. Hit after freaking hit! Metallica is HUGE! And it's no accident. They've been around for years, it's not like they're some annoying band that's huge one day and gone the next. And don't even get me started on Metallica POSERS! You know who they are. They're the kids who claim they're Metallica lovers because they listen to the black album, or more recently Death Magnetic. They run around ticking them off on their list of 'fave bands' and try to make you think they're into Metallica. Ask them to list 5 songs from they 80's, they're stumped. Try and get their opinion on the famous cutting of the hair or Napster disagreement, they stare at you blankly. These people sicken me. Anyone else out there feel the same?

I agree completely. While I'm not the biggest fan of st anger myself it still doesn't mean the band sucks. They've had decades of experience and just awesome music. I don't understand why someone would turn ther backs because metallica didn't create a hit. Thier music was never and will never be about making the most sells. I think metallic has changed over the years. Every band's sound changes. it's just a part of evolving to new sounds and relevent music.
