Do you have a goal in life? What is it? Were you able to achieve it? Is there such a thing as too late to do what you have to do?

I don’t have any ambition in life as for myself…that age has gone for me. when the time was right, I was busy with other important things and now in early middle age, I am too preoccupied with basic survival to have any ambitions left. However, if it can be called an ambition, we have an only child, a son of 10 and whatever we are doing in terms of hard work and saving every penny, is for his future. I personally guide him in his studies and till now it has been OK more or less…so in a way it is my dream and ambition too, that he might be good in his studies, grow up to have a good career and all my hard work will be successful.

for most couples at the middle age, children are their big ambitions. It is a great ambition and it is a hard job.Parents can be successful if their children can live happily in the future.
My ambition is to own my business. I don't wanna earn a large amount of money, for life is enough. but it must be my interest.

That is one cool answer I got today for a question I myself ask myself. Your answer may have been the answer to my long time question to myself. I tried to look for answers why I am still not contented with the things I can only have and things I want to have. Thank you my dear friend for your comment it is a great help to me.

My only ambition is to serve my country. No matter what my profession is, my economic status is, I must serve my country to the maximum possible level. That's my only ambition! I'm working towards it!

Your ambition requires a lot of time and effort. I wish you luck and have fun while doing your job. I used to have ambitions too. All my life I wanted to be a very rich man. I am 42 now and still I am a very poor man. I tried so hard and I really worked hard I prayed everyday and wished for my dream. I am thankful to mylot and I found the answer to one of the comments to this question of mine.

Yes, definitely all of us have ambition in life. My unbroken ambition is to become a lawyer and I believe I will be a lawyer soon. After that, I want to settle down and have a family of my own. Those are just my ultimate goals and the others are just incidental.
I think, there is that thing as too late to do what you have to do, it happens to those who are pessimist and doesn't believe what they can do. People tend to say many things they want to do in their lives, but they never do anything about it until it is already late. That is why there is also the term "regret".

I do not think it is ever to late to go for your goals in life unless you are not physically able to do it. I am trying to reach a goal of finding peace and paying off my bills so I can enjoy life. My husband and I both are working hard for it.

Hello Mr.Plus. I think that almost every one of us has some ambition in life, big or small. After the achievement of some of my ambition, I have some new ambition, which is, to make enough money and retire young at sixty if sixty can be called young. lol

Hey,
No I don't really have any goals in my life, so that might be one reason why my life has been quite boring. Even in school, I didn't have any goals so I had absolutely no motivation and I didn't try at all. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

Each and every people must be having a goal in life and even me I have some and I want to live up to it. I want to be qualified as a successful Barister and lead a healthy life with my children. I want to be a wonderful mother too because I know to be one is very easy but to be a very good one takes time and understanding.

My goals are to be the best mom I can be and have a fulfilling career for myself. I for the most part have the mom part down. We all have our moments of doubt, but I think I'm pretty good with it. The career part is not there yet for me. I've switched college majors a couple of times and now I'm taking a break until my daughter's in school. It will happen eventually. I just do things out of order, so it causes some obstacles. I don't think it's ever too late to reach your goals.
